I'm the guy who got bored watching the D league game and took exception to the criticism of Mo. I used LeBron as an example. I could've used Kobe, Steve Nash, or any number of scorers who turn the ball over more than Mo.. I see value in Mo's assist improvement and how he affects the tempo of the game. It was not a comparison of LeBron and Mo...it was an example of how great players take risks and sometimes that translates to turnovers. Yup, I usually cheer for the underdog in the discussion and always cheer for the guy who plays for Portland. I think Mo is a fantastic 6 man for this team. Is he the league MVP? nah...never even suggested that
I'm with Nate on this issue. To use an example like Lebron of someone who takes risks that sometimes translate to TOs isn't a good example, IMO. Lebron can take whatever risks he wants because . . . he is Lebron fucking James. He does so much good on that court, whatever risks he takes is way outbalanced by everything else he does on the court. If say Meyers Leonard or T-Rob starts taking risks and turning the ball over. . . that is a different story.
I am in your camp in thinking Mo is a good back up PG for the Blazers.
