Why would we care if Amare can be medically insured? We're going to be paying him the minimum.

Amare Stoudamire cannot be medically insured, plays no defense and is way past his prime. Saunders doesn't like to play basketball and would be the closest thing to a jailblazer you could put in our lockerroom....no thanks on both counts

You should do your research before stereotyping a guy. Sanders is more than a "jail blazer". He's literally an artist. You can question his commitment to basketball all you want, but grouping him in with the jail blazers is just lazy and ignorant.

He tore a ligament in his hand stemming from a bar fight, regardless of how people feel about marijuana, he's continually failed drug tests and faced suspensions, a failure to follow team/league rules, cruelty to animal complaints for leaving his pets outside in below freezing temperatures, fighting with teammates.
Are they horrible things on the level of, say, dog fighting? No. But he's far more than an "artist", and there's a clear pattern of stupidity and bad decisionmaking on his part. If we're a shit team with no real good future pieces, sure maybe I look to see if he could turn things around. But I fail to see how a headcase, poor lockerroom player with an inability to follow simple rules is "exactly what we need".

Calling my opinion lazy and ignorant? ok...I get the lazy part but personal insults are not cool dude. I have my own opinions about his character..and if you think being an artist gives a guy a "get out of being a jerk" free pass, you and I know different artists.

I meant on the court.
on the court, then how does the comparison not fit? Talented yet immature, hot headed, bone headed, easily distracted and frustrated.

Before this season.. Someone could make an argument that Larry Sanders just can't handle losing all the games the bucks lose.. Causing him to check out.
However it's clearly on Larry Sanders now because the Bucks are 30 - 23. Jabari Parker is out, they have another on IR right? but regardless when you lose one of the best players on your team it's supposed to be a "circle the wagons" mentality. Everyone is supposed to work harder. Larry Sanders still looks like he doesn't care.
The Blazers care when they lose. You can see it from Stotts/Wes/Lillard/Aldridge/Batum.
Larry Sanders shouldn't be playing basketball if he doesn't care.

"Ignorant" is not a personal insult; it simply means "uninformed". If it appears that your opinion is based on a lack of information, calling said opinion ignorant is not unreasonable, and certainly doesn't rise to the level of a personal insult.

That said, I'm inclined to agree with your lazy, ignorant opinion.

Ya a personal insult would be I hate your hat. And I do

Jk. Forget I said anything bout sanders.

My hat is not strong enough to defend itself although it can take the heckling.

The good thing about Nate is he knows he's a 6 man, bad thing is he's a really short one

Nate would be awesome! Look what he did in Chicago under one of the most rigid coaches in the league. He'd be an upgraded version of Mo. And by upgraded version I mean cooler. Chemistry wise he should fit in just fine. I know he's close with dame

I am not sure of his contract but I bet we end up getting someone like Chase Budinger. Someone under the radar, not too splashy but would get the job done.

Chase has another year at 5 mil on his contract plus he is putting up 5/3/1 and can barely get any run on a terrible team, no thanks.

Budinger? Might as well just give Crabbe more minutes.

Which means I think people are going to get their hopes up that something bigger and better is coming through that door.

I would much rather do that. I saying what I think will happen not what I want to happen.

Yeah I know. I think either we trade for someone like Chandler, or we do nothing at all. Maybe sign Nate or one of those buyout candidates like Prince

I'd be happy with Nate, dump Barton.

I'm with the boat that Olshey will either make a big splash or no splash at all. The thing with Crabbe could be why he hasn't played much. I don't think Olshey wants to part with him.

It seems it just takes our coaching staff a little longer to see results, take Myers, Cj and freeland. Most people wanted these guys traded this time last year. Even Claver has improved as a shooter from the small sample of games he has played recently. Crabbe might be our makeshift Chandler in the waiting. It all depends on if the team wants to do a major vet upgrade for this years run or not.

Hell, I'd even say the game in Chicago this year was Beibs worst game of his career, and there were more than a few who wanted him gone. Same with CJ. I don't -want- to get rid of them, since we are seeing production from them two, but if it makes us a contender, then I won't regret that we tried it.

(BGD, your obligatory didn't-read-the-entire-post comment about how all of the players are untouchable in your failed sarcastic tone can commence now.)
