OT TIME for you lefties to denounce the "media"

Welcome to our community

Be a part of something great, join today!

I actually shouldn't have said they. You were the one defending a cartoon with a Jew made into a dog. Not they. YOU
I've explained that until I'm blue in the face and no longer have any confidence that you'll ever get it.

BTW @bodyman5000 and 1
I have a question for you.

Have you ever seen anyone from either side take something seriously when the opposing side has said.
'It's time for you x to denounce x.'

I certainly haven't. In fact when that's happened I've seen more hate created by both sides than progress.
Or it's. 'Why do we have to denounce something obvious?'
Sorry I missed this. I don't know. When shown the Covington video I said those kids were assholes that needed a beating. What I didn't know then is that I was being tricked like the time article is meant to do.

Race baiting is wrong no matter who does it.

First of all, I'm not putting him on ignore. So let's get that straight.
Secondly, my response had nothing to do with his link to any article, it had to do with his atrocious remark to Riverman "Riverman wants to sew Muslim man in rotting hog carcasses so he can't go to heaven." I think this is inappropriate even for making a point.

I quoted river too. He is the one who ignored.
Secondly body didn't say anything rude. He quoted river!!!

Choices.....but thanks for the play by play..feel free to engage the topic if you like.

You are welcome.

My engagement would be much the same as bodies.
You put him on ignore for simply pointing out how the author is twisting things and using a quote of yours to do so?

I see where engagement would lead me. :)

If Trump supporters cannot see why Trump tweeted something congratulatory towards Bosa and only Bosa then they’re not living in any possible semblance of our current reality and should take some time looking within themselves ASAP

Really?

So lets say it was a muslim who was drafted number two and a community muslim leader posted a tweet congratulating one of their own for being drafted 2nd overall. Would that also be muslim racism on blacks????

This is ridiculous that someone cant congratulate a supporter without being called a racist....

The president is supposed to be the president of the entire country, not just his tribe.

And when he makes presidential speeches, I will hold him to that. When he tweets out to his followers, that's another situation.

So he cant every commend anyone ever without including all people in all facets of the sect in which the commended is in AND beyond????

So because he didnt, he is a racist?

LMAO. The chain of thinking of some just baffles my mind.

Is it? They are official presidential statements, per the White House.

Obviously he can do whatever he wants.

So because he didnt, he is a racist?

That's not why he's a racist.

LMAO. The chain of thinking of some just baffles my mind.

Sounds painful.

Per white house? You may be right, but I havent heard that. Link?

Btu the article is using this as evidence of him being racist, which is just ridiculous.

Nothing baffling is painful, unless those who are baffling others feel pain in doing so.

It was bodyman who said that about Riverman. That truth is stark.
I understand Riverman's reason for the ignore, however I see things about bodyman that I respect so I'm not going to ignore him.

I don't think Trump congratulated Bosa and not Murray due to racism. I think he congratulated Bosa because Bosa was the high-profile "MAGA guy." It was a political thing, but not a racist thing.

That said, when you make a lifetime of racism (from discriminatory practices with your apartment buildings up through claiming a judge is ruling against you because he's Mexican and saying that there were many fine people in a white supremacist rally), you have to expect that sometimes people will apply a filter of racism to even actions of yours that weren't intended to be so. It's just the cost of business when you purposely play to white nationalism as part of your populism.

Court ruling? Not government Consensus?

Lets bypass that for a moment and go back to my original thought, regardless of official Government tweets or not.
Is a leader not able to congratulate a follower of his own party without being claimed a racist for not congratulating someone who is not part of his party?

So then Lets say the roles were reversed. A White Maga follower was drafted number 1. A black man who is a democrat and Obama support is drafted number two. Does that make Obama a racist if he congratulates his follower but not the number 1 draft pick?

Fair is fair. Would he be considered racist?

How do you figure? Body QUOTED River.
Jesus Christ, here's what he said for crying out loud -
"Here ya go. I'll write a headline like this about Riverman...........

Riverman wants to sew Muslim man in rotting hog carcasses so he can't go to heaven."

Here's Riverman's response -
"ambulance chasing for posts? whew.....what lengths people will go to to skew a point and cherry pick an ancient rant as some sort of fuel....right out of the orange playbook....creepy"

Look, it seems pretty clear to me that all the reasonable discussion about this is entirely lost at this point. It's a dead end and I'm not for wasting my time on dead ends.

Jesus Christ here's the riverman post I quoted in this thread.
6 dead and he rammed a childrens school bus.....fry this fucker in radioactive waste while sewn inside rotting hog carcasses...can't get to heaven smelling like pork

Lanny. Body's point was its easy to twist a statement into something it isn't. Body provided an example using one of Rivers statements and twisted it.

Not sure what you and/or him aren't understanding about that. The headline was in reference to Rivers quote saying what the headline said..........

So ignore because of lack of understanding...

Sounds familiar.

To each their own.

Court ruling? Not government Consensus?

I don't understand these questions.

Lets bypass that for a moment and go back to my original thought, regardless of official Government tweets or not.
Is a leader not able to congratulate a follower of his own party without being claimed a racist for not congratulating someone who is not part of his party?

If Bosa was a Republican who had just gotten elected, sure, congratulating him and not a Democrat would be completely normal.
But Bosa isn't a politician. He's a football player. His getting drafted had literally nothing to do with whether he was a Trump fan or not.

So then Lets say the roles were reversed. A White Maga follower was drafted number 1. A black man who is a democrat and Obama support is drafted number two. Does that make Obama a racist if he congratulates his follower but not the number 1 draft pick?

Obama simply would not have done that.

I dont follow your logic on the Boas.

The first two questions you don't understand were based off the links you provided.

To say Obama, or anyone for that matter, simply wouldn't have done that is an assumption unproven.

If he HAD, would he be considered racist?

Ummm. Didn't Obama make a cool tribute video to Dwyane Wade? Where's the one Dirk? Maybe I missed it

I knew that, but it isn't clear what your questions about the links are.

To say Obama, or anyone for that matter, simply wouldn't have done that is an assumption unproven.

So Obama wasn't president for 8 years?

If he HAD, would he be considered racist?

If Obama had a history of doing and saying racist things, then he'd be considered racist.
