God, Kerr was such a moron in the first two picks though. Could have been a rout if he knew what he was doing.

I agree, if he chose someone like Wilt with that pick along with Kobe and Lebron (available at his 3rd and 4th pick? wth?), that would have been a runaway.

I hate when people pretend like this stuff isn't subjective.

You mean the team with 46(!) titles is the worst? You gotta be under 25. Get a clue, Faker fan. That team is loaded with HOFers and champions like mad!

Am I supposed to be impressed the Celtics locked up a bunch of titles when there were 8 teams in the league?

Barkley picked AI because he thought it was a fantasy team playing in an All Star game. His logic was that the PG in All Star games had the ball in their hands the most and created every thing. He didn't understand that it was a fantasy team of the best possible players available (that had 5 or more All Star appearances). He goofed.

Gosh that might make his pick even stupider. So he wants a PG who has the ball in his hands to create for talented teammates, and Chuck chooses AI over Magic, Big O, Kidd, Stockton. What an idiot.

or maybe he just knew that AI wouldn't really pass the ball that much and drop 40

Titles really doesn't have much to do with how good an individual player is.

Teams are made up of individual players. If those "individual players" aren't truly great within the team concept, they don't win titles. Some guys are big stat guys, but don't get it done as far as winning as team players (D. & A. Stoudamire, Nowitzki), they end up with nice stats but no rings and known as selfish, "me" players.

Yeah, in today's watered down NBA, where teams with a losing record can make the playoffs, and a team like Orlando can make the finals, it would be a nice team. Your reasoning doesn't take that into account. It's not close to as great as it was a couple of decades ago. And you're comparing role players to Hall of Famers. Duh! Also, Sam Jones, Cousy, Havlicek and Heinson have 32 those titles between them that they won in a 13 year stretch, including a run of 8 straight. And by the way, they beat down the lakers 6 out of 6 along the way. And c'mon, Grant "Dr. Sholls" Hill?!
