So fucking sick of the it takes two to tango bullshit that I've been hearing every draft and trade deadline for almost all of the Olshey/Cronin risk averse shit show.

Real GMs get deals done... PERIOD. They create realistic goals and then do what they have to, to get another front office or two over the finish line. That's not what we've got from Joe.
 
Its a joke that Cronin said we were building the team around Scoot and Sharpe.

How do you build a franchise around two players if you have Five guys playing in front of them.

Can you imagine if we had kept Raymond Felton as our starting PG and stuck Dame on the bench for years?

it took Golden State 2 1/2 seasons with curry to trade Monta Ellis. Then when they did the owner was booed.
 
Yeah ownership is putting to kibosh on tanking. They therefore must believe they have a contender on their hands

Damian was ready from the get go, Scoot wasn't.

We've had just about a month of good play from Scoot, he wasn't ready for major minutes.

Dame was far more polished from the get go than Shaedon was.
 
Maybe they fired Cronin and promoted Chauncey lol

You might be right and Cronin has trades lined up that Kolde/Vulcan/Jody vetoes or such.

I have no idea how the management works. I do know that Jody/Vulcan/Bert have a track record of being horrible.

All of the times I say "Cronin" in criticism you can change to "Blazers management" if you prefer. None of us can see those discussions so we just say "Cronin" as the GM position is the visible character in making these moves.

This just means they fucked up LAST summer by not trading jerami to Houston for the package including a 1st

im so over this bullshit.

now we go into another year of shutting everyone down and waiting for next year.

This is the shit that is happening right now and the lamest part of it is it's possibly two Dames stuck behind two Feltons. FUCKING BULLSHIT! Whether it's Joe or it's ownership or what the fuck ever. Our trajectory is struggling to make the playoffs and getting bounced in the first round starting next season through seven years from now and then another rebuild.

Hopefully new ownership shakes that time table up!!!
 
Danny Morang is more connected than any of you on here x1000000000. He just said that all the deals he heard that got proposed to the Blazers were NONE that he would have done if he was the GM. Take it for what it's worth but its more concrete than the speculation and ideas that you all come up with.

I always forget that the Blazers GM can only receive proposals from other teams and isn't permitted to counter or submit proposals of their own. Gotta get that changed in the next CBA.

Or dumber, we don't shut anyone down and end up with the 11th spot in lotto... which is absolutely the worst place to be in the league.
