What's ironic is Powell is like CJ lite but this season you could argue he is closer to CJ then ever so MAYBE this opens up a future offseason deal sending CJ away but maybe just over thinking it at this time.

Well Powell's metrics are way better than Afflalo's.

At the very least, we didn't give up a pick in the deal. Depending on what Gary's next contract is, may not be as bad.

They got better defensively and offensively with Norm Powell (over GTJ and Hood). I addressed the offensive aspect as you could theoretically argue Norm and Trent, this year, are a wash defensively.

but Norm with his 7 feet wingspan and historically has been a better defender also.

I think I’ve already listed it a couple times. Great in transition, cuts hard to the hoop, really good defender, hits the 3 ball real well.
