When I was working in St. Louis I wanted to buy a house. I got a real estate agent who had ties to my aunt in Florida. There was a house for sale by a Black family whom she didn't want me to consider because they were Black. Guess she was not professional.

Gawd I hate agreeing with ABM but we grew up in a “we reserve the right to refuse service to anyone” generation. I thought the lesbian wedding cake fiasco in Oregon was badly handled. The government had no right weighing against the idiot bakers. All those two lesbians had to do was make the shops recalcitrance known and let the market decide the shop’s fate. Those two ladies (or anyone else of any persuasion) have no right to force those clowns to make them a cake. And the way they went about the situation was counterproductive. You can’t force a business to serve someone and government be damned. If someone refuses to serve me, it’s their loss.

So, just because I have religious beliefs, based upon what the Bible clearly says, I should never consider owning a business that could include making a custom wedding cake for a gay couple? What if were a minister and they asked me to marry them? Based upon your premise, it would be a sin to turn them down.
