That had better be the case, because we shouldn't be giving up ANY asset in this trade. It's already a pretty weak haul for taking that stain off of CLE's books/court, but if we're sending something out - even a measly 2nd round pick - that's an even worse trade and it'll go down as another mark in the "Cons" column for Neil's work with the Blazers.I believe Cleveland already owned that blazers second round pick and it is just a coincidence that it is being moved in this deal.
The only thing that could possibly make this a good trade is if LBJ decides to leave CLE before 2018 (if the reports are true that that's the first year we have rights to the pick).
