Way too early trade suggestions (5 Viewers)

I’m probably in minority I think Giannis gets traded, and I wouldn’t be the least bit surprised if we got him. We have everything Bucks need for rebuild, good young players Scoot or Sharpe maybe Toumani , plus their draft picks they desperately need back for a rebuild.

Scoot or Sharpe (prefer to keep Sharpe) large contract of Grant maybe Williams plus their picks back. Scoot or Sharpe is nice young building block to start their rebuild.

With Deni proving he can be an elite player with Dame/Jrue, Clingan, Tou or Sharpe. That’s a dangerous team that can compete with any team in NBA. Defensively we’d be scary and have enough shooters around that they couldn’t key in any one player without fear of another player hurting them offensively. That’s a championship caliber team with only concern being whether Giannis would play here. Talent wise and relationship he has with both Jrue and Dame I think he’d be interested

Forgot to mention why I think he gets traded I think the other night when he got booed is tipping point for him. He didn’t like it and even booed fans back
I have a hard time thinking that Giannis and Deni pairing would be anything but a disaster. They both want the ball, both need the ball, and both play from the same floor positions. The spacing would be terrible and it would be one of those 'it's-my-turn-it's-your-turn-it's-my-turn-again' synergies that just doesn't work like anybody would want

MIL ain’t gonna trade giannis to POR without getting Deni back. Nfw.

Fischer is saying the Blazers could be sneaky buyers.

Put a bookmark in this, but I wouldn't be surprised if the Blazers move on from Scoot at the deadline or in the off-season.
How much you want to bet? Because whatever it is, I'll take that bet.

There's absolutely no fucking way.

Bucks are going to try to please him at the deadline. It will fail. Then he'll do a Dame and quietly demand to be traded in the offseason.

I still don't understand the whole idea of trading to both get older while simultaneously giving up future draft capital. I don't see a deal out there that accomplishes that while making the Blazers a top-five team in the West. Basically, it'd be like going back to Dame's last couple of years in his first stint in Portland, except the team would be about ready to age out and drop way to the bottom much sooner -- without the picks to build back.

It'd be like building a nostalgia team. Sure, it might be nice to say people saw Dame and Giannis play together as Blazers, but that's not a team built to probably get to the Western semis. It's just an attraction that's about to be shut down.

I think you can do both while only giving up scoot and few of Bucks draft picks. I mean I’d be ok with Jaren Jackson but don’t think they trade him.

I hope we see something like Jerami and Rupes for Kuminga and Moody.

Get younger, a little deeper and see if some of the young players can get better.

1. Jackson doesn't make the Blazers that much better, and I think Scoot still has a future with the Blazers, although most seem to just want to jettison him.

2. Giving up the Bucks picks right when the Bucks picks will be most valuable leaves the Blazers trying to replace Dame, Jrue and Grant with no way to do that, unless maybe you think bringing in Jackson opens the door to immediately deal Grant. You don't have Scoot coming into his own.
