Way too early trade suggestions (1 Viewer)

I see that Minnesota is a club that might be going after Giannis. I understand people don't want Bridges considering his age and salary. What if we could get Naz Reid and and McDaniels who are 26 and 25 and are paid reasonably for the next 5 and 4 years respectively?

Interesting idea. I like both players in their roles, but I'm not sure they do much to raise our ceiling. We might be a team 9 deep with solid "B" level players, but without sufficient high-end talent to actually make some real noise.

I see what you are saying. They are both pretty damn good B level players. It would be a tough call

Milwaukee would get their pick back and the two swaps cancelled. Maybe MN has to give a second round pick to us or MIL for getting Love; they are really desperate for a PG with more zing than Conley; Dillingham has really not worked out. 1769657344702.png

I wouldn't do the deal as constructed let alone add both swaps and I'm assuming you're saying the Bucks would get the best pick out of ours, theirs and Boston's in 2029 because the ship sailed on just giving them their pick back when we traded the Wizards the second best of those three.

Again though, I think giving up Scoot, Caleb, Jerami and let's just say Matisse for Reid, McDaniels, Dillingham and Ingles is a bad trade for us before adding in any draft considerations.

The Wolves are getting away with highway robbery. They're just giving up their role players and they're getting back a superstar... and you have us as the ones giving up draft capital. Do you hate our team???

Why on earth in this scenario wouldn't we keep Caleb and take Giannis? I'm not a huge fan of that deal but at least we're getting a superstar in it.

Well, I don't want Giannis so if you think we are giving up too much, then we can give less picks and MN add some.

Yeah I don't want Giannis either and I like the idea of us getting Naz and Jaden but I wouldn't overpay for them by more than double their value just to facilitate Giannis going to a team we have to play like 4 times a season.

I would consider a deal where we send out both Bucks swaps in 2028 and 2030 along with Jerami and Rob for Naz and Jaden and let the Wolves figure out the rest but as I'm assuming you've learned the Wolves have no tradable FRPs; they've leveraged them all to assemble the team the already have. So I doubt there is a deal there.

I see no reason to help the Bucks. Let them go into rebuild and we can trade picks later when we want to trade them. Cronin didn’t bend to Dame’s demands to go to Miami. He has no reason to give the Bucks their picks back. Unless we are actually getting a player we covet, hold em.

Two first-round-and-out playoffs.
One of them was injured each year. We never saw them in the playoffs together for a series and things were going great during the season before they fired Bud. They also won the Cup when healthy last season.
