I don't accept that as true
Brandon Roy vs Zion--> 283 games vs 114 games--> 13M in salary vs 34M in salary
even allowing for a doubling of the cap, then Roy was at 26M in salary compared to Zion.
so then, how about a tale of the tape of their rookie scale deals:
games: Roy 283....Zion 114
points: Roy 5534....Zion 2941
rebounds: Roy 1253....Zion 793
assists: Roy 1365....Zion 409
winshares: Roy 35.4....Zion 14.2
total salary: Roy 26M....Zion 34M
tell me again how Zion was "worth more" than Roy. I hate it when people don't factor availability. It's one of the most important qualities in a player and Zion hasn't been available
Obviously Roy failed in his 5th season. But Portland got great value during his rookie scale. They paid Roy $92,000/game. The Pels have paid Zion $300,000/game
