I know...right?
I mean, I've taken some hard line positions, before, and been wrong by the way, but Blazerkor is seriously locked into in a no-nuance-accepted-no-other-option-considered-has-to-be-all-settled-tomorrow position. He's usually flexible in his views but not the last 3 or 4 days. Completely entrenched
as I said, I really don't know what will happen but from everything I've heard and read, I don't think any team has come close to the kind of offer for 3 that would shift Portland off the pick. And I'm doubting that will change in the next 20 hours. Yeah, it's possible, but seems rather improbable
and if so, then the Blazers will make the best of the Dame/Scoot situation. Maybe Dame will ask out later this summer; maybe by the trade deadline; maybe never. But this strange notion he's either already asked out (while in France) or will in the next 48 hours is just not logical, nor does it seem like the kind of thing Dame would do
I get the attraction of a Zion trade. I can see the possibilities if it works out perfectly. But I also see the probabilities of failure and the scale is really tilted in that direction
