for extensions it would be 6 months after the trade before an agreement could be made
Yeah that is a little too risky for my blood.

If they could come out of the offseason with this starting five, I personally would consider this to be one of the best GM accomplishments in Blazer history. Barring them trading every future asset they have.Dame
Sharpe
Grant
Siakam
Turner
I dont think theres a big difference between Turner and Nurk but I know we've been linked to Myles in the past. And his contract for the next two years is fairly reasonable.
Screw Indiana. Literally. I'm not interested in dealing with them unless we're screwing them over.Keep on seeing rumors of Indy wanting a SF upgrade and their interest in Miller.
What do we want from them besides 7 to get them to 3?
If we could make something like this work, I'd go for it. Even if we weren't screwing Indy. How about this?
To IND:

She knows her stuff better than most draft people. Was really high on Shaedon last year.
Listen to her gushing about Scoot.
any cliff notes for this?
Easy choice.that would be a bold & risky pick by Portland if Scoot or Miller was available.
holy crap...here's thought: Charlotte shocks the world and takes Amen. Then Portland has to choose between Scott or Miller...yikes!

I've never really seen Schmidt's take on Brandon Miller, so I've got no idea.Schmitz has never loved him like Amen and Scoot.

But his former partner thinks Miller is #2, ahead of Scoot, so I wonder how far he differs.
She is an analyst that I highly recommend listening to. The whole thing.
I'm also listening to this one
That's not super applicable IMO, particularly because Brandon Miller started moving up boards during the season due to his play.He had a list before the season.

If we blow it up, we should be able to get Amen and another lottery pick or two.I feel like I agree with this guy on a lot.
One big thing though: If we "blow it up", I'm drafting Amen.

I think we'll really regret passing on him or trading him if we do. There's more than what meets the eye about him than what you see in his stats or highlights. He has an intangible "it" factor.
There's certain folks claiming Pascal can play center.Just say no to Siakim.
