Another comp I just heard from Utility Sports for Brandon Miller is Brandon Ingraham.

I'd take that. Then trade Ant/Nurk for a two-way player with a bigger salary. Or just Nurk and change for Ayton.
I could see that happening if he has an awesome interview and workout. Then use Ant / #23 to go get DeMar DeRozan and draft pick reconciliation. Then you have access to future picks to potentially make a big move at the trade deadline to add even more.

I think Miller is going to be incredible. His shot his awesome, and at 6'9, hard to disrupt it. Add that he has good handles and can defend. Don't want to predict greatness from him, but I have a hard time not seeing him being incredible, even better than first year Sharpe. Shooting and defending always gets you on the court early.

Just remember, defense against fellow one & doners is NOTHING like defending against the best in the world every night. Not even close. I hope he is great, but chances are , at best, he's just decent next season.

If we have Sharpe at SG, draft Miller to play SF and potentially re-sign Grant to play PF, why get DeRozan? I'd say we don't have a need for him really, nor Grant. We would need a rebounding/defending PF. A good role player. Doesn't need a lot of shots. Buck Williams type.

I kinda wanted them to separate the twins.
Why. Not that they would ever do it, but you know for sure if Amen's shot is getting better with work, and it's not his brother filling in. Identical Twins have been noted to fill in for one another once in awhile .

Actually you do want DeRozan. He has a great mid range game, can defend , and gets to the free throw line a ton. Sharpe could then focus on being an impact 6th man. DeRozan strengthens the lineup.

Nurk, Miller, Grant, DeRozan, and Dame has potential to be awesome. Then you have a potential star + in the making as your 6th man in Sharpe.

And you can add at the trade deadline for the stretch drive because you've unlocked those picks.

They've been together at every level. I feel like Ausar has been undervalued and skills diminished due to playing with Amen, in regards to ball handling and play making.

I'm not too high on either of these guys but still would have liked to evaluate them individually.

Maybe we're trying to get both of them

Man! There are many in here that raved about his defense . To be honest, there really aren't very many good , consistent, defenders in the League. Jrue Holiday, Mikal Bridges, Pascal Siakam, and Giannis are the only ones that stand out. There are good defense only guys like Matisse Thybulle. But few both way quality players.

You forgot Kawhi and PG13

There seems to be a lot of questions about his athleticism and finishing at the rim. Many question his ceiling. Even if his ceiling as an offensive player is questionable, I like that he's already pretty good defensively and has good passing ability. Adding his size to this team should be a good thing.

To POR: solidify starting lineup that can have synergy with a great mix of skills.
- Draymond
- OG

To ORL: Gets two hometown dudes who fit their age profile and either Scoot/Miller
- 3rd pick
- Simons
- Little

To TOR: gets a lotto pick and a flyer on Isaac for a guy who might walk next yr.
- 6th pick
- Isaac

To GSW: gets a lotto pick and saves 10 mil
- 11th pick
- Nurk

Dame
Sharpe
OG
Grant
Draymond

Get another big 7 footer with our MLE and use the minimum ona backup PG and go for it. Try to get extensions in place for both FAs before pulling the trigger.

Feels like a slight overpay. I think Orlando owes a little more here. 3 for 6 and 11 seems fair. Which means they get Simons and Little for free. Or, Simons for 11 seems fair, which means they get the 6 to 3 upgrade and Little for free. I'd ask for WCJ from them, and we play him like GS does looney, 22ish minutes a night, have Sharpe be our 6th man.

Dame
OG
Grant
Draymond
WCJ

And then we close with the lineup you suggested.

Done deal! I love that lineup.

I have been wanting to get Draymond at the four. But I still think this team is missing a second star. That's the big issue.

Ant/3 for Butler.
Nurk/Little/Keon/Knox/NYK pick for Draymond.

Throw all our MLE money at Naz Reid.

Dame
Butler
Grant
Draymond
Neid

Who is the center, Grant or Draymond? We really want to roll with a 6'2 PG that can't guard a chair and four 6'6-6'7 guys? That is a lineup that would have won the 1949 title probably. The definition of position less basketball for sure.

After the 98-99 season we made two significant trades that almost got us a ring.

Rider/Jackson for Steve Smith.

6 players for Scottie Pippen.

Those are the trades we need right now if we're going to try to make a push with Dame. We need two All-Star caliber players to vault us into contention. The two players that seem like they would be a good fit would be Brown and Draymond.
