Agreed. I think Dame wants what is best for the team. He wants to bring in the most capable players possible.

It the most capable players are available in the draft I think he'll be good with it.

100% agree. Dame is not dumb. Since the report came out that Idiot Ujiri demanded a haul for OG and Dame was okay keeping the 7th Pick, i have a hard time believing that we would gave the 3rd Pick away for anything less than an All NBA Wing.

Sharpe came to Portland twice last year. Jeremy Woo unearthed a second workout that he had in town. And there was a workout in Phoenix at the same gym with Dame and Beckner. More than what meets the eye in these public appearances.

   If the Hornets are fairly set on Miller, then the draft starts here. Portland could go a number of different directions, and it publicly sounds prepared to trade this pick in order to get Damian Lillard some immediate assistance.
   
   At the lottery, Blazers general manager Joe Cronin told Yahoo Sports' Jake Fischer his team is "trying to win and trying to maximize Damian's timeline." At some point in this process, though, Portland might conclude this roster has too many holes to ever become a contender during whatever remains of the 32-year-old's prime.
   
   Should the Blazers embrace life after Lillard (more on that scenario later), they might bypass Scoot Henderson to snatch up the wildly intriguing Amen Thompson.
   
   ESPN's Jonathan Givony reported the 20-year-old will "get long looks from Portland," and the Blazers might prefer the pairing of Thompson, a 6'7" two-way playmaker with explosive athleticism, with 6'3" scoring guard Anfernee Simons over Henderson's fit in an undersized backcourt.

Doubt it. His ceiling is lower than Scoot's and that's the consensus. Also, his legal troubles on top of Bridges.

If Scoot fell to #3, I'd be ecstatic about taking him. His value is higher whether to keep or trade.

Another question to ask is: What other offers will Boston receive that is better than #3?

Teams don't always get what they want in trades. If Boston knows they're not going to resign Brown next summer, it's about being the best option they have, not the option they want.

It also depends on where Brown wants to go.

If Dame is going to be traded it makes no sense to me to pass on Scoot if Scoot is available.

Miller is a phenomenal player. No question. He can fill it up.

But he has not interviewed greatly and anyway you slice it, he delivered the gun that killed a single mother. There are red flags and none are about talent.
