Update: It's bulls***. I'm leaving it up to give further proof that I'm a moron for buying this garbage.

No worries. Everyone does their own thing.Sorry for my negativity. I was just hoping to hear some rumors etc by now. I am positive that Scoot is the man however. POR is just between a rock and a hard place to build around Dame while not screwing up the future of the team.

Sean parroting this take means we're definitely going the two timelines route lol.
100% this. Bridges hasn't done anything except be a role playing starter on a team that made it to the Finals once and he's been in the league long enough that if he was going to be a superstar we would have had a lot more evidence of it by now. So treating him like one or even valuing him like an all nba caliber player is too much.
Yeah--apparently the word "fail" escaped him. Ironic. That's also an awful double negative from Sean when trying to make a point
Also they won a title and Poole was impactful last yr.Yeah--apparently the word "fail" escaped him. Ironic.

Totally disagree about Ant, I think he has positive value... maybe slightly overpaid but that's my opinion having seen him play out of position for most of the season. Nurk has negative value but we have two picks in the first round of this draft and the second one could be used to move Nurk for pieces with slightly positive value. I'm not saying both guys are for sure gone or either of them but I'm saying that your certainty is misplaced but then again lately your more negative than @AldoTrapani and it just seems like you've been trolling.
Why do you and others continue to act like the last twenty years of basketball haven't happened. Superstars have been able to dictate when they stay or go (regardless of their contract situation) for quite a while now. So yeah, Dame will decide if he is on this team or not. If any front office in the league tries to hold a superstar on their roster against that superstar's will they'll be doing a lot of damage to their ability to negotiate with players and agents in the future. He is going to decide what he is going to do? He's under contract for three more years and will make nearly $46 million next season. This fact should be added to all of these stories.
Says the guy who is/was writes the articles.
Hey. It's not like you don't know what your reputation is. You're like the king of negativity and because every time you can go negative you do... you then say shit like, "I told you guys (fill in the blank) bad thing was going to happen." You're not a bad person because of it. You seem like a good dude. It's just that your takes are almost always extremely negative. There are exceptions but it's gotta be way more than 80% of your posts that are negative.Hey man!

Like it or not the precedent was set a long time ago. Personally I like it. I think if you play at a certain level you should be able to dictate not exactly where you play but definitely if you are going to stay on your current team or not.
Could you imagine after all of the loyalty that Dame has shown this organization and the model of integrity that he has been, the shitstorm from the media and other star players around the league if it was ever public knowledge that Dame had requested a trade and our front office denied him and told him he'd have to play out his contract. We would get slammed so badly and Cronin's career would be over, no one could hire that guy because every superstar or guy who thinks they're a superstar would refuse to play on a team where Cronin had any say.
I would hate this trade if it went through
