Frankly, I think anyone who is trying to monetize their content is going to be subject to pushing an agenda. They are going to be more prone to hyperbole and extreme takes because that's what drives eyeballs. Some do it by way of catering to those who want to believe the organization is great and carrying the water for those who share information with them. Others are going to make their content more towards the audience who believes they are as smart as the key decision makers and loves content that is hypocritical.

I doubt either side would openly say (or are even aware) of how the drive to cater to their audience impacts their ability to be objective.

That looks like a roster that just got 21 wins, why you think it'll be magically better is beyond me.

Even if the Blazers don't try to tank they may still have very bad records for many many years.

It's not like the year they try hard to win they automatically are awarded wins.

The Warriors have 5 allstars, highest payroll in the league, All NBA season again from Steph and are the 10th seed.

I'm not sure if everyone has an agenda when talking about the Blazers. I think we all have a bias in how we see things.

Let me put it this way: If my income were based off my opinions of the Blazers and when I made posts that were pro-Billups I received $50, but the ones that were anti-Billups received $500 (based off clicks, interactions, etc), I have a feeling my brain would start focusing on the posts that brought in the most money.

Cronin explained how much Billups helps out in the Blazers Front Office, the scouts, everyone everywhere gets good input from Chauncey.

Billups said this was his best season as head coach. He got to run a few different plays (when guys were available), and his rookies competed hard.

One more 'best season' as head coach, then move Billups to the Front Office.

Chauncey's talents in the NBA is a welcome sight for what seems to be a Front Office in dire need of NBA experience. There's rookies & sophmores in Blazers management. The inexperience is not isolated strictly to the court.
