I heard parsons was talking mad shit to everyone on the team including coach stotts...something about telling Batum that if it weren't for him the French would be speaking German. Got put in his place pretty hard, wonder if that will affect his confidence the rest of the series.
 
You talk about it being playoff basketball. The end of the game, fouling out, the almost technical on Chandler Parsons. What was going through your mind at the time?

There is one interesting clip in which it looks like Chandler Parsons, who was reportedly quite chatty Sunday night, says something to Stotts. Stotts turns back toward Parsons replying “I like my team.”

Parsons trying to get paid from the Blazers is more like it. Shit if I was parsons i'd be going to everyteam talking about how much I wanted to be there to up the amount I get paid. He has been the most underpaid player the last 3 years so I hope he gets a nice 10+ a year deal.

Its been since his last year in Orlando. That back injury wasn't a joke and he has lost a lot of his "explosiveness". Howard was one of my favorite players but what he used to be able to do in Orlando and what he does in Houston and in LA last year just show how much of a shell of himself he is. I'd say he is more at 85% then 100% of what he was in Orlando. The fact he is still as good as he is without the explosive athleticism, that let him do things like set a screen near the 3p line and still get back in time to block a shot at the rim or to catch the ball and bring it up through contact to lay it in or the quick double jump that made Pryz so good, it just shows how good Howard is to still be such a dominant force when he has clearly lost a few things.
 
WOW props to the Blazers...Had no idea they were this good. Howard came out dominating the first half and LMA matched him point for point.

Game 3 is a must win...interesting note on local sports talk there have been 3 teams in the history of the NBA to be down 2 games and come back to win the series. The Rockets were apart of all three combacks twice as the winning team and once as the team to lose. Keeping hope alive!!! Hoping LMA will cool the 'F' Off. The last PF I saw in the playoffs go on run like this was Dirk the year they won the championship.

Repped for showing up. I tell people on this site that Rocket fans are generally good people, and you're proof of that.

I think it's a case of regular season carryover and coaching. We were playing well at the end of the season, and you were having injury problems. Also, McHale doesn't seem to have an answer. JVG or Adelman would be better in this situation.

As for LA, he's just on another planet. We've never seen him play this way, either. He's always had the talent, just never the drive.

Like I said before, I thought we would have to win two in Houston, but I expect the Rockets to take one of these two. Win or lose, the play in the series has been incredible. Two very evenly matched teams.

Your team reminds me so much of our team with Roy. Your coach is completely incapable of adjusting or drawing anything up better than a Harden iso. You guys have a lot of talent, but you need a better coach. It's really weird to be on the other side of that.

I will say this, I think Jones is going to only get better. That dude is extremely talented. He's not good enough to defend LA right now, but I think eventually he could be a solid defender.
 
Harden should start shaving his beard. Dothraki must remove their braids upon defeat.

Most Rocket fans are good fans...but the few often ruin it for the rest of us. Uploading pics to an album but it is SLOW as hell.

Rocket fans and Blazer fans are not that different in what both franchises have had to endure over the years i.e. chronic injuries to star players, bad coaching, and supstars not ballin when it counts the most. I am confident their will be a James Harden sighting tonight! Of course I have felt that way for the two past games.

Hoping "Clutch City" will be born again tonight! 20 yrs ago another PF went balls out against the Rockets (Sir Charles). Ended well then...let's do it again for old times sake!

This has been one of the best series in the NBA in a long time. I am at a loss for words in the maner in which the Rockets lost game 4. I do believe the Rockets will win game 5 to push it to a six game series. Every game thus far has had the ups and downs that will age a fan too quickly.

Repped. Both teams in this series, win or lose, can hold their heads high. I look at the intensity and the quality of the basketball being played in this series, and can't imagine that both teams would not be leading in a series against any other team. SAS, OKC, LAC, MIA, IND, whoever. '

Well it took me awhile to get back on...Congrats on the series win! <.9 seconds> will live with Houstonians for all eternity. It is going to take a while for this one not to hurt. No disrespect to Portland but I thought this was a great chance for the Rockets to advance to the Western Conference Finals. The Rockets swept the Spurs in dominating fashion and played very well against Portland. Definitely pulling for the Blazers the rest of the way and I hope Aldridge and Lillard keep their hot shooting going.

Portland vs. Houston rivalry is just getting started.

I was thinking about it, and man if you guys would have gotten Phil Jackson you would have been fucking unbeatable. Your team would be amazing with the triangle offense. You essentially have Kobe/Shaq, which the Lakers got three titles out of.

I didn't say they were. I'm saying the Rockets would be. If Phil could get Harden and Dwight playing together, I think they could be the best team in the league.

Man, that was an amazing series, and not just because we won. Those two teams could not have been more evenly matched. I'm not sure I could have taken much more of that kind of tension. And I do think that if Lillard misses that shot, we lose Game Seven.

B2B, if you are on clutchfans, will you pass on my congratulations to the fans on that site? I've been banned (for what reason, I don't know), and I wanted to thank them for their thoughts on the series and the quality interactions I had with all of them. Houston is still one of my favorite teams, and if you would have been facing SA, I would have been rooting for you.
 
Maxiep I am on clutchfans under MLRS (military thing). I mostly read the threads on clutchfans but will contribute from time to time. Our owner came out and said we will add a significant free agent next year (Love, Melo, or Rondo).

Bottom line is unless we get someone who can defend the perimeter or get Harden to play some semblance of defense the Rockets are going to struggle in the playoffs.

Should be an interesting off season for Houston fans.

Love would be awful for your team.... Out of that list, only Rondo looks good. Houston doesn't have a problem with offense. They need vamp up their d.
