ABM's viewpoint on #2 is:
Grassroots movements fighting systemic racism like BLM may be highly suspicious and should continue to be evaluated.
But before you were saying grassroots movements were the right way to do things.
It starts to sound like you feel nothing really should be done to combat systemic racism, except perhaps to pray. (After all, the thing you respect about Martin Luther King Jr. is that he's a man of faith--if he hadn't been, I suspect you wouldn't namecheck him so much.)
