I wonder how much of Yangs play is due to language/culture shock.

I would guess it's less likely that someone from a European country would have language issues, but also they tend to grow up playing against grown men vs the route Yang has gone.

In addition to people having somewhat unfair or unrealistic expectations for him.

I keep my expectations very realistic. I expect Yang might be more of an end of the bench player for a few months, then 6th man around January, starting in February, and our best player averaging 35mpg in March.

We shouldn't expect too much too soon. Let's give him a few weeks.

I also don't expect Yang to lead us to the conference finals this year either. That might not be until some distant time such as his second season.

I disagree with this. Yang was only getting about five minutes a game. Losing that doesnt makes us thin up front to me. Especially with Reath. A little thin? Okay. Extremely? Not at all.

Shit we are doing fantastic! Could be 6-0 honestly. So happy with this defense. Took 2 really big hits last night with injuries. We’ll see how they adapt.

Yang just doesn't look ready. He is definitely a project. Duop plays better than Yang right now.
