Do you think Jimmy Butler wanted to be where he was? Yeah you keep thinking that. I can name a bunch more players that destroyed team chemistry being somewhere they didn’t want to be than you will ever be able to come up with that didn’t. Anthony Davis does not want to be in Portland and the statements are clear. Even discussing it seems pointless at best. But have at it. I do think some of the fallout type trades could be interesting.
Except that Dame and AD are close and would actually be good together. Butler got mad because his teammates were lazy and they barely got the 8th seed with a loaded roster.

We'd be contenders to get to the WCF at the very least.

Ya if we landed AD, him leaving in FA a year later is not even a minimal concern for me. Injuries, his brittle body, and reckless style are far more worrisome. Even that ultimately is a minor risk compared to the ridiculously high potential reward

I doubt a bad team like the Hawks or Bulls would give up the #1 pick for Zion. That's a big risk waiting until the draft to hopefully convince that team to deal with you.

It's not for sure that the Celtics would give up Tatum, let alone Brown and other stuff too. What happens if Kyrie leaves too?

Philly might not be willing to trade Ben Simmons. It would accelerate their window to win.

Another funny thing is the report that Ball doesn't want to play for NOP. Who the fuck does he think he is, Kobe?! He isn't even a quarter of the way to being good enough to not want to play for [insert any team here].

He doesn't get a say anyway

Ive always respected Lebron but this stuff with LA and Rich Paul pulling the strings is shady. Its obviously tampering, collusion and dirty.

Not that much different than some of the stuff he pulled in Cleveland, and in Miami for that matter.

If Kuzma/Ingram/Ball want to stay in LA it might be time to come down with some knee injuries that they want to go to their own doctor for.

No but his agent is already putting it out there that he won't re-sign with any team but the Lakers. What a crock!
@Chris Craig is talking about Lonzo. He still has 2.5 years on his contract and would have to sign the QO for the year after that so he has no say.

As for AD, even if it was 99.9% certain that he was leaving after the 2019-20 season I'd still trade whatever it took to get him excluding Dame. AD and Dame would become really close and if he wants to leave after we win a title next year then fine.

I lost a lot of respect for him when he bailed on Miami a year early after Wade took less to get James and Bosh there rather than take on the challenge of going for another championship after losing the championship. Then turns around and bails on the Cavs for the second time.

Would you trade Nurkic and McCollum for Davis and filler as that would likely be the only way Pels listen

You will get no argument from me on that. Dame and Davis would be awesome.

What part of "Large Market that is going to compete for a Championship" is it that you don't understand?

Ha Ha Okay eyeroll....

Did he say "Large"...because yesterday he only said compete for championship. Did he update the remark?

I was thinking about that last night. you could start Collins at center and go with Dame-Curry-Hark-Collins-AD
and you would still have Meyers, Aminu, Jake, ET and Nik (and the two rookies and the NO throw filler)

Starting Jake and ET would also work. (ET does throw a nice alley oop that AD and Jake would benefit from)

Please tell me you're one of the people who took LA's comments as wanting to remain a Blazer for life as gospel.

What you quoted wasn't a comment that was made by Davis, but a statement made by his agent.

What if this happens? :NOTMARIS:
