Has anyone watched the Stephen A Smith take on all the Davis stuff, I think I hate him more than anyone in the media by a lot.

This is crazy. Anthony Davis legitimately might be the best player in the NBA. We don’t have the assets to get him. CJ McCollum and change isn’t going to do it. Lillard for AD straight up won’t do it.
For player value, I completely agree.
Davis >>> CJ + Change
Davis > Dame

However, there are several situations when a player asks for a trade that they are sold for $0.80 on the dollar. This is one of those times. Portland needs to hunt through the couch cushions to find enough change for the deal.

Honestly, the Blazers would probably have to give up CJ/Nurk/and two 1s. That’s my opinion. If he resigned sure, not knowing if he will resign, doubtful.

I read that NYK and LAL are preparing trade packages for Davis. What in the name of Sweet Fanny Adams do the Knicks have to trade?

Man! that mustard yella is fugly. He doesn't look good in that color what so ever. Kinda the color you find in a babies diaper.

Seriously, that newborn (post tar) baby fluorescent radioactive looking mustard yellow.

So is everybody going to be crushed when AD is traded to the Lakers, Celtics, or Knicks?

@Scalma post that stuff about the Pelicans not really wanting picks in this thread.

"A picks-based package wouldn’t necessarily be most appealing to the Pelicans anyway," according to The Ringer's Kevin O'Connor. "New Orleans is the NBA’s smallest market and the team ranks 26th in attendance this season, despite having a megastar in Davis. The front office could theoretically prefer to receive an established player, so the team’s fan interest and attendance doesn’t dwindle."

Contending teams with lesser stars, such as the Trail Blazers with CJ McCollum, could surprising us by entering the Davis sweepstakes, much like the Raptors did for Leonard by dangling DeMar DeRozan or Oklahoma City did for Paul George. New Orleans, an unexpected destination for Cousins, knows this all too well. The Lakers were ironically considered favorites for all three of those stars at one point.

Jrue, McCollum, Randle, and Collins is a pretty nice core to build around, relatively speaking. They all compliment each other.

He’s not coming to Portland. He said he wants to join a team that consistently win, not a team he swept in the first round a season ago. I just hope it’s not the lakers or the warriors.

I bet Lebron is putting the pressure on AD big time and he seems like the type of guy that would cave to it. All of this since Paul became his agent appears to be a plan to help Lebron. Really Lame.

Because the lakers consistently win? Btw, LeBron is 34. 35 going on 36 after next season. Would AD really commit long term to LA next summer?
