Game Thread Yankees vs. Indians Friday 5/4/18, 7:07 pm

Not a good omen when this team only has a handful of reliable pitchers. There are pitchers on this staff
who give up runs at will. Trashman, are you watching these guys giving up runs? Hope the Florida
weather suits your GM moves!

Out with the squeeze missing the game. Did a score check in the 7th looking good. Now I get home and en route the Yankee Pen (Shreve) shit the bed against a team worn down by a double header yesterday. Totally absurd.

Chapman is in 9th inning jam. Can he pitch 2 consecutive days. That wild pitch proves he is
laboring. I can see the lead disappearing. Two outs.....with Kipnis coming up..... .195 BA!
Another wild pitch. Game tiedSOB!

Cone is dead wrong. Sanchez’s should not have had that last wild pitch. With 2 strikes on the batter, Chapman over throws the pitch. There goes dependability. He is useless tomorrow.

Can they walk off? Stanton just led off the 9th with a gap double to RCF. These pitchers
cannot go more than one inning. El Kracken is due up......vs. Cody Allen, Indians’ closer.

End this crap.

Andújar .......finally, the hero!
I honestly believe if this game went extra innings, I do not know who to trust.

  1. Andujar the Yankees 3rd Baseman saves the Yankees ass. Fuck you Shreve you goat blowing incompetent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I cannot stand Shreve and ditto, Robertson. These two are not hiccups!
Are you fucking kidding me, Shreve has been good, Mr. Jack Curry says so.
Every time he comes in to pitch, he’s putting men on base. Yet, until tonight he
has the lucky horseshoe planted up his butt......you just know, that was not going
to last.

I’ve been tracking the O’s on the road. After tonight they will have a 3-14 record. Those
3 wins were at Yankee Stadium in early April. Yeah. It bothers me that O’s manhandled
a not-so-ready Yankee team. Granted. It’s water under the bridge. Can you imagine that
those 3 wins will be their only ones! LOL

^^^^^Crap! I missed him getting 3,000 hit. Congrats to another future HOF.

I love it.......”This is Gleyber Day....the Gleyber flavor of the month”. John Sterling. Who else?

  • Have a +55 run differential, fourth-best in the Majors (Houston, +58; Atlanta and Boston, +57).
  • Are an MLB-best 18-1 (.947) when allowing 4R-or-fewer.
  • Their 21-10 (.677) start matches their best 31-game start inthe last 15 seasons since 2004 (also 21-10 in 2017/2010).
  • Are 15G into a season-long stretch of 18 consecutivegame days (4/19-5/6)...are 13-2 so far.
  • Are 12-2 outside the AL East this season(5-0 vs. AL Central, 6-1 vs. AL West, 1-1 vs. NL East).
You are a statistical genius!

We were crushing those guys. Andujar expressed himself, lifting his SLG percentage to .520. Robinson gave the Indians hope but the walk on in the ninth is an indication of hot this team is.

"Mr.G" Stanton is starting to awaken. He connected that curveball and his intentions are to be a full time batter rather than live in the DH role. He said he wanted full bats not just one or two a game.
He did go 1-4 but he is batting .267 in May. Although it is only five days in, I hope he packs on another 40 points to that average.
