Damn nice play by Andujar, overall gamer for the Yankees was Gardner with a bomb and a couple of nice outfield plays.

Remember Chien-Ming Wáng, once Yankee pitcher, injured his foot running
toward home plate in 2008. Watching Tanaka running home made that Wáng
flashback come to mind. Hopefully, he is not hurt badly.

The old BSPN board would not allow one to type in Wang or Wong, it had a check system that literally would not allow one to type in his last name, ntm no fkng cussing, a bastard bullshit BBSPN affair.

Wang, a helluva SP until that baserunning miscue and the shoulder blowout that followed shortly thereafter... the kid threw a hell of a gopher killer..

Let's hope Tanaka isn't injured.

Captain Fantastic bails out the team from deGrom, got2 say deGrom's fastball looks livelier than the radar gun shows...

Good to see judge did not injure himself sliding into 2nd.

Chapman cannot throw one cleaning to save his ass...
Game Recap-

Game Recap-

He had a hits arm sleave and a weak infield dribbler..

You do know Mo didnt always go 9 pitches 3ks an inning all the time right

At least with upcoming off day they can skip tanaka once in the rotation and give him extra time to recover. Won't need him for 10 or 11 days or so.

geez, what are you really trying to say???

Chapman is comparable to Mo', really, seriously-

A 'H' and a 'HBP' are still a hit and hit by pitch by any other name, i.e. 'weak inf dribble', 'hit arm sleeve' (not physical, no harm no foul??); enabling baserunners. What a way to slam the door...

Mo's worst year issuing free passes as a Closer, (BB/9), was 2.8 which is Chapman's 2nd best offering. Chapman lacks Mo' Mojo simple as that is. Chapman opens to many doors for the other team to score....We can tap dance to stats all day long, but in the end no one can tell me Chapman's even close to comparing with an Epic Legend.
What's next DiDi is Jeter's equal...???

What im saying is the guy isnt perfect but who is.
There is a lot of worrying going around thats unneeded. Chappy is one of the top closers in the majors.

^^^So if you had to close out the 9th inning of game 7 of the WS you'd feel just as comfy with Chapman as opposed to Mo?...please don't even try to compare the 2.

...I also know that for whatever reason you've been pimping the Yanx starters and BP and portraying them as something they have not been so far, and that's your prerogative...but others have the same right to disagree with your assertions. You even went as far to cherry pick one decent star by Gray while discounting the fact that he's pretty much sucked all year. If you cannot see the glaring holes and deficiencies of the weakest part of this team, which has clearly been pitching, I don't know what to tell you.

...plain and simple, the Yanx either need their staff to start pitching to their capabilities or Cashman needs to shore up the staff by acquiring more pitching.

I never said chappy was the same as mo..all im saying is he gets so much grief on here..even mo had baserunners during the regular season.
Everyone complains about the staff, yet they are one of the best teams in the majors. Are they the 90s Braves..no..are they the 90s yankees..no...but god dam u would think these guys are horrible.

5 and 2 over the astros....

Could they improve..sure..every team has a flaw..the starters are the flaw but are hardly the worst staff in the majors
