Scene I'd like to see: at present the Red Sox are now barely defending their World Series Championship. If the Yankees go into Fenway and take care of business the Red Sox new status would be last years championship. Heard Costas remark that if Boston could go 5-2 on the 7 game Yankees Twins Series they could be right back in there. Waiting for Sunday Nights ESPN Game to hear what A=hole will have to make about Boston getting "hot". The Yankees to a man should go to those four Fenway Games with the intent of payback for last year.

Oakland A’s down to the LA Angels in 7th inning 6-1 come all the way back and win the game 10-6......
to become first AL wild card.

An ESPN article I just saw stated that the Yankees are facing some tough issues on Stanton. What so tough about that? Simply put he's been riding the sick books not helping his team therefore you sit doing the playoffs if Boner has the stones to do that ditto Cashman. The commentator also brought up that Stanton may not want to be a Yankee if that happens. As the Irish say "good on ya boy". I'd bet many Yankees Fans would soon see Spoiled Little Guppy Stanton placed on the next outbound Greyhound out of Port Authority headed anywhere.

The Twinkies take out the Pinkies 2-1. Boston now sits 16.5 behind the Yankees with 22 to play. Yankees have 21 to play, sweeping the Red Sox in Fenway would knock Boston right out of the Division and put a serious ding in a Wild Card Spot.

The idea of Stanton in this year’s post season play is a joke. What qualifies him to be on the roster?
Two people.....Trashman & BaBoone! This roster does not need a strike out artiste. How do you award
this guy a post season spot above the likes of an Urshela?

Boston signed Chacin, tonights starter to a minor league deal after he was DFA from the Brewers. The man has an ERA damn close to 6.

some guys get treated horribly by this fan base....

what qualifies him to be on the roster, how about being a former MVP who even on a "down year" hit 38 home runs batted in 100 rbi's. Yes his post season was disappointing but the guy does have tremendous talent.

Not sure why Judge is loved so much and Stanton is killed...both have a very similar strike out to at bat ratio both had similar hr to at bat ratio...

the difference is one is home grown and the other was traded for.

Too many strikeouts highlight a piss poor showing by the Yankees thus far.

When does any person get a tattoo of their last name on their forearm ???
or anywhere on their body for that matter?

Is that just in case they forget who they are?? The camera Cuts Sanchez leaning on the rail first time I ever noticed it oh, the tattoo I. E.

Here is a clear picture of Sanchez's violation of Yankee policy, i.e. no tattoo's showing. They made Giambi cover his up.

El Vato Muchacho...

Nice throw and play by Sanchez and Torres; to throw out the attempted and steal at 2nd
Fkng Rain !!!

Go Home Dorian

4 innings, no runs, 8 strikeouts against Boston 2nd tier relievers. Yankees are not taking care of business. Prior to this game NLB discussed this team compared to the '98 Yankees. Sorry Gang, not even close.

German and the Yankees shit the bed failing to show the Red Sox who the league leaders are at this point of the game.

Domingo the Flamingo Germán departs after 4.1 IP, with 4 Earned runs, 4 BB's, 5 SO's and only 3 Hits; 1 of which was a 3 run HR to Moreland.

Nice try kiddo, you've had one hell of a good year; no not the tires

Then along comes Nestor to further fuck things up.Yankees really looking like chumps this evening.

This team lacks the killer instinct, getting their asses kicked instead of kicking ass. Smoltz talks like the Yankees have wrapped up the Division. No one has won anything yet and shit can happen. 1964 Phillies 6 game lead,10 to play, shit the bed and St Louis went to the World Series.

Frazier doing a great job an ensuring that his trade value is plummeting. Yankees should’ve traded him while his value was at its highest this season. Oh well.

Yep, a down year, a paradoxical year- 38 HR's ~and~ 211 Strikeouts, an All Time Yankee record.

Stanton has not played up to the exaggerated hype, and has not played like an MVP at all in New York.

I don't think Judge is getting a pass merrily because he's a homegrown Talent. Maybe but unlikely.

Imo it's 2-fold or more:
1) Stanton's Salary- 26 Million $$$
Judge's Salary- $684,000

That's more than 25 Million reasons for Fans to be upset with Stanton's arrival in NY. Especially when an Ace SP is by far more necessary, than a Big Bopper like Stanton or Encarcinon.

2) Trashman should have been looking for an Ace SP, instead of bringing the Miami Albatross to the Bronx.
G. Cole, Verlander, and a few others would of been a sweeter addition than El-Whiffo. (Screw Greinke).

From 7:36 PM Friday night to 5:01 AM Saturday I have had no Cable which means no phone, no
internet, no TV....I missed the Yankee atrocity and yes, I agree, they have no killer instinct, and yes
poor pitching is the denominator that leaves the door open for their opponents.
