I think that depends on if they get Conley or not. If they do they probably wouldn't have enough to get Mirotic too.
Must be nice to have that problem.

Well I think we have the pieces to get Conley too, it just doesn't make sense for us to use those pieces to get a point guard.Must be nice to have that problem.

I think the Anthony Davis stuff is totally based on whether or not the Pelicans like CJ. If they don't there is no way we have the right pieces.See that’s the thing right there. We also have the pieces to get in on AD. But what we seemingly don’t have is a GM with some balls.

Another player not developed while Dame isn't getting any younger. Great idea. I'm sure this is what LeBron wants too.Any chance we could convince Toronto to let go of Pascal Siakam?
He is a rising star!

All Neil can do is make the offer. He can't force NO to make the trade. This isn't NB2k where you can override trades...unless your the Lakers of course. Hopefully, NO trades Davis to Portland or elsewhere to spite the Lakers. It feels like they are going to hold on to him until the summer. We will see.
If it comes out that NO didnt make a serious offer for AD because he wouldnt include CJ, I think Id be done...My point is I don’t think he’s even going to make an offer. Not a legit one (CJ) anyway.

Yes I am aware and I hope it stays quiet, but often times leaks happen (and sometimes there is no validity to it), but like I said if it comes out that he didn't make a real offer because he wouldn't include CJ... just stupid. On the other hand if I am Neil and I did make an offer to New Orleans, I would go out of my way not to let who was included to get out.
Right, neil isnt going to come out and say hey, we offered CJ, and that still wasnt enough. On the other hand if I am Neil and I did make an offer to New Orleans, I would go out of my way not to let who was included to get out.

Yup for steaksauce baldwin and two seconds.Hood is a Blazer
Yup a year and a half of AD and a shot at contending is better than CJ, and in 2020 a lot of the big contracts come off anyway so having AD comes off just means you reset and build around Nurk / Dame again.Would you consider it stupid if word came from Davis's camp that he wouldn't re-sign with Portland?

So losing in the 1st round with CJ and Stotts will thrill him more? If they got AD this playoff run and next they would have a legit chance to compete. They don't have that right now. I'm sure Lillard would be pretty freaking happy to play with AD who he has said multiple times he wants to play with.Yeah, and that would really thrill Lillard i'm sure. Losing that much of an asset could put us back in the lottery but not bad enough tog get a high lottery pick and then Lillard's contract expires and then what?

I don't think Dame would be mad if they got him even for a year and a half.
