So now two picks, or a couple of picks is the same as alot of picks????
Riiighhht….
Ant is still youngish. Anyone much younger will not have been proven enough to garner such a return.
Are you saying Ant/Ayton and four to five picks and possible pick swaps couldn't bet us an all star?
If so, I disagree.
You are referring to mostly the Olshey era and what he was/wasn't able to do. and he was by and large an idiot.
two 1st round picks, possibly both lottery picks....for Avdija. Two first's and Brogdon bought the Blazers a role player who is coming off the bench. Now you're saying 4 or 5 more picks plus swaps for some hypothetical all-NBA player? In other words, 6-7 first round picks, + swaps, for Avdija and Mr. X. LOL....OK.
replace Simons & Ayton with Donovan Mitchell or Kawhi in street clothes or Trae Young (ignoring that the other team wouldn't touch both of those empty stat dead weights). The Blazers aren't anywhere close to being a contender, and might not even make the play-in, this year or next.
it looks like you took so much exception to me saying the only way for Portland to land an elite player is the draft, that you fell off the deep end, hit your head on the landing, and are coming up with a loopy exception you apparently think makes sense.
I'll trigger you again: the only way for Portland to realistically and logically land a couple of top-15 to top-20 players in the next 2-4 years is the draft
