That was a smart basketball play. Denver had no timeouts. Any coach worth a damn would’ve told their guy to purposely miss with 1.4 seconds left.

Even if he makes the likelihood of a full court pass Christian Laetner style play is very fluky. Generally the hit the rim but dont make it is executed better

If he misses, Denver has no time outs. How is Jokic supposed to lumber down the court in 1.2 seconds to receive the pass?

Knowing/thinking we'll miss it on purpose also keeps Jokic at the key to rebound, which means he can't catch the pass to make the shot.

But it’s usually a catch and oh fuck hot potato type situation. Not a glide over to the sideline and make a calculated pass like on a make.

he had 15 rebounds in 24 minutes; 7 on the offensive glass. And for the most part he kept Jokic out of the paint; not easy. He did really well I thought

Tiago is a good coach. I like what he sees in the players, and what he's getting from them on the court is shocking given all that's happened. Have we ever had a coach start his first season with us 4-1?
