Honest and realistic? I think it's more like flighty and pessimistic.

Being a fan means that you support your team until the final buzzer. Calling it over with a 10 point deficit at the start of the 4th is not only mathematically and statistically foolish, it's bad fandom.
hate to say i told ya so, but it is over and it was over when I posted.
You just don't come back from 14 down in the 4th to beat the Spurs at home, esp when we never win there

being honest and realistic is considered a quitter? yea, okay...I think its over..so sue me...I'm still watching, just giving my opinion..I don't have to be all happy joy joy like the two Mikes who sugar coat everything

Yes, you're honest and realistic that you're a quitter.

Parker killed us single handedly.

This is pretty much a microcosm of all that went wrong last season. Bad D and no inside scoring.

Way to stand pat KP.

Umm it's still not over and you told us nothing because you can call a game before it's over. So you were wrong for saying it was over even if we lose.

Learn the game, then post.

I agree on their offense.

Their defense has always been built on being allowed to grab, hold and shove to an absurd degree.

Remember the Bad Boys of Detroit?

They exploit the rules. It earned Detroit two rings in the early 90s and the Spurs three in the past six years. We should take notes.

This is the most disappointing performance of the year by the Blazers for me. Horrible offense and horrible defense against a crippled team. Unbelievable.

No, this has NOTHING to do with the fact that you quit on your team with PLENTY of time left.

Why would we want to emulate winning teams? Nate wants to turn us into the Sonics team he used to coach. Soft, jumpshooting and predictable.

What's worst is a certain poster is going to be posting the next week,,,,I hate to see the threads after this game. :)

You have to give the Spurs a ton of credit. They have completely taken Brandon Roy out of his game. I tip my hat to San Antonio.

Parker is ridiculous! UGH!!!

But I have to give props to Channing for coming in ready to play and contribute when he's had so many DNP-Coach's Decisions lately. I love the guy, he's fit right in with us and I want him to succeed so bad!
