I meant the unis you see them wear in games have never had logos before. The NIKE swoosh showing up on the new ones is the first time. I believe the picture dviss posted is from one for sell to the public.
Really? Have I EVER been wrong FAMS?He's right:

I was joking *No personal insults, thanks for giving me an opportunity to make my first mod edit*#27Wins
I broke that news in the uni thread months ago.....keep up FAMS!Charlotte Hornets uniforms will have the Jumpman logo instead of the swoosh; that's kind of awesome.
Honestly.... these advertisements on the uniforms are really tipping me towards the edge of not wanting to follow the NBA at all.
It just proves that the NBA holds nothing to be sacred. Do you think the Red Sox or the Yankees would desecrate their historic uniforms with an advertisement for mattresses?
Changing the arena names was bad enough, because those should be a reflection of the city they reside in, but putting advertisements on the jerseys is pure greed. Nothing more, nothing less.
Maybe, but soccer teams have been doing it for a long time.
Which is the whole reason I'd never buy a Timbers jersey.
I don't fucking work for Alaskan Airlines...
Fitting that the Nuggets sponsor is Western Union. Might as well advertise payday loans on jerseys.Honestly.... these advertisements on the uniforms are really tipping me towards the edge of not wanting to follow the NBA at all.

Looks like I have some work to do to convert you. Timbers games are awesome.
Well, if New Jersey still had a team....Fitting that the Nuggets sponsor is Western Union. Might as well advertise payday loans on jerseys.
(a) It's basically been done since inception, unlike NBA/NFL/MLB/NHL.Maybe, but soccer teams have been doing it for a long time.

Most ironic, most fitting, or most satirical team sponsors on jerseys might be a good thread topic for some of the idle creative minds around here.
You would honestly not watch the NBA anymore because of a little patch on a uni? I guess you would, because you don't watch other teams games right? I would think if people were really fans of the game itself, something like this doesn't even register.Honestly.... these advertisements on the uniforms are really tipping me towards the edge of not wanting to follow the NBA at all.

That will be for a team from NJ or Vegas.Fitting that the Nuggets sponsor is Western Union. Might as well advertise payday loans on jerseys.
Soccer teams need ads on their jerseys.
Race teams need ads on their cars/motorcycles, etc.
There are some sports that are totally justifiable in having ads on their uniforms or vehicles, but the NBA/NFL/MLB do NOT need it. They have tons of revenue from commercials.
