I wish there were a condensed version of the audio... he does the classic radio thing of repeating himself a lot. He also harps on some things that seem overly negative about the state of the roster towards the end, but I think that listening to the clip while I was working in another window was worth it.

Allen flew in from Kenya for the draft.
Bert Kolde loves to fire people.
Steve Gordon has been the liaison between Allen and Pritchard since the split, which happened just before Allen stopped sitting with Pritchard.
If Pritchard had fired his agent after his agent said the Penn firing was a drive-by, Pritchard might have repaired some bridges with his superiors and saved his job.
He was the lowest paid GM in the NBA [my note: source? did 30 GMs confide their pay to Brian Berger?]
Pritchard and Penn were not superclose. Penn sometimes make Pritchard look incompetent in front of others by calling him out on the carpet [me: about cap matters, I assume].
Pritchard did not orchestrate the Roy and Aldridge trades in the war room. Pritchard wanted Morrison instead of Roy.
Brian said Patterson said in the interview the other day that Pritchard modernized how Blazers evaluate players.
Patterson said, and Brian agrees, that Pritchard has gotten both undeserved credit and undeserved blame for various things he didn't do.
Some players had conflicts with Pritchard. The rest had no special love for him. After Roy found out that Pritchard had wanted Morrison, Roy had a chip on his shoulder from then on, but kept the relationship professional.
At the workout before that 2006 draft, Roy and Gay were dominating Morrison, Quick spied on them, and Pritchard was paranoid because he wanted Morrison. Soon there were new security rules about when the media could come into the media room. The media blamed Patterson, but it was mostly Pritchard.
On the morning of the 2006 draft, Patterson called a meeting of scouts including Pritchard, and outlined how they would trade for Roy and Aldridge. Not all agreed. Pritchard made the Sergio trade/purchase [Allen wanted Sergio, but Brian didn't say whether Pritchard did too.]
Pritchard didn't discover Batum or Sergio. Jason Filippi did and orchestrated Rudy's signing. He used to be agent, speaks 5 languages, works out of Italy, and is the best international scouting director in the NBA.
Pritchard didn't disperse the credit. This made others who deserved some credit dislike him.
Pritchard was not always professional. Brian says he'll leave it at that. [I assume he means the cheerleader girlfriend.]
For GM, Ferry is very high on the list. Anyone with LaGuerie as agent won't be considered, like Kiki.
Pritchard was not well-liked by other GMs. Some felt him arrogant, and some felt that if they had his advantage of Allen's money they could do better.
David Griffin is being considered for GM. He has basically run the operations for the Suns for a few years, and has been there 18 years. He was essential to the success of Colangelo and Kerr.
Brian makes an editorial. Wayne Cooper went to his high school. He was and is Petrie's right-hand man in Portland and Sacramento. The Blazers should look at him.
Allen gets rid of GMs after 2-5 years. [me: Whitsitt lasted 9 years.]

No, your take was that Ferry was somehow above Pritchard because he resigned while Pritchard was fired. You said my logic was lacking.
