Sports Business Radio host and founder, Brian Berger, has been in the sports business industry for 17 years as a radio broadcaster and a public relations expert. After working for KXLU and KBLA radio in Los Angeles, Berger moved to Portland to work for the Portland Trail Blazers in 1992. While with the Trail Blazers, Berger worked such events as the NBA Finals, NBA Draft and the Basketball Tournament of the Americas, featuring Dream Team I. Berger was also on the grand opening committee that orchestrated the opening of the Rose Garden arena, which became home to the Trail Blazers in 1995. After 6 years with the Blazers, Berger started his own Sports and Entertainment PR firm - BBPR Inc. Berger has worked on projects with high profile notables ranging from Michael Jordan, Carmelo Anthony and LeBron James to Brian Grant, Andre Agassi, Anna Kournikova and Lance Armstrong.
Berger had the idea to start Sports Business Radio after years of developing a network of high level contacts throughout the sports industry. Berger is able to call upon this network, which includes many of today's top sports owners, executives, agents and athletes, to appear as guests on Sports Business Radio and share their unique insight.
