Agreed. He's still a great defensive player with upside. Whoever thought that all the players need to be in the same age widow to build is not reading how to build teams correctly. If we had Scoot, Shae, OG, ? and Ayton as our starting 5, I would be very happy and think it would be very promising honestly.

We need to be in talent acquisition mode.

And even young rebuild teams need vet’s.

Agreed; if he wanted to pick the team he should've declined the extension last offseason and been a free agent. He gets a nasty injury last season Blazers owe him ~200+ million.

You either get to chose your destination or you lock up the bag. You don't get both.
