Thoughts?
For me, who cares where he goes and if we make him an enemy. It's about the team.

Well we can’t trade him yet. Can’t happen until the 9th.Glad we are taking our time and not giving in to Miami garbage offer
Philly maybe. All depends on how Dame and Embiid do and if they can stay healthy.
I don’t think Dame makes New Orleans a contender. They’d be a solid playoff team but unless Zion is healthy and he stays healthy, I don’t see them as a contender.
Philly is waiting for the right package so it may take a while.
So let’s say this 3 way goes through and we end up getting Jovic and Simmons and a bunch of 1st round picks.
How many games does a starting unit like this win…
Scoot
Sharpe
Jovic
Grant
Simmons
6th Man-
Ant

My understanding is if you do a sign and trade with Grant he looses the 5th year. He is not going to agree to that, so no way to do a S&T. Going to have to wait until trade deadline to trade Grant, if they go that route.Went Allen make a lot more sense than Grant? Can we turn that into a S&T?
Agreed. Who knows what the timelines of everything are, with all of the stupid leaks. Everyone saying when something did or didn't happen. My guess is Dame said he wanted out at their meeting. Grant knows. We tell Grant we will sign you for your 5th year, and then do our best to send you to a contender at the deadline. We don't lose an asset, you get more money and more years. Win win.My understanding is if you do a sign and trade with Grant he looses the 5th year. He is not going to agree to that, so no way to do a S&T. Allen is a Center.Wouldn’t Allen make a lot more sense than Grant? Can we turn that into a S&T?
Question for ya:Yes, slept 4 hours, woke up, slept another 4 hours...
I know that’s why it makes more sense, once Nurk is gone we don’t have one.Allen is a Center.
Guys... you're killing me..... Grant won't do a sign-and-trade. He wouldn't get the 5th year that he demanded.Wouldn’t Allen make a lot more sense than Grant? Can we turn that into a S&T?
Question for ya:
Are you starting Scoot at PG or Ant? I’ve seen a lot of people saying Scoot should start right away, but I feel like starting Ant and building his trade value until the trade deadline benefits the organization more. I’m a big believer of his 11 game sample size without Dame last season.
Anywhere around 25/3/6 on .45/.40/.90 over 40 games and he should be viewed by teams as a guy who can be a legit AS PG one day right?
I don’t see a need to get rid of Ant right away, I think the minute split should be 34/32/30 between Ant/Shae/Scoot.
Based on recent track record, anybody else kind of counting on is getting shafted only so the real outcome wont be too disappointing?

I’m expecting Jovic, Simmons, 4 1s.
Not as much as he’s worth, but not getting completely robbed.
