Yeah not sure he was the one that orchestrated that , maybe so, but the AD/Boosters sure did.......by making sure their parents had a brand new home.

Ducks get LOI form Dave Luli right out of husky turf.
Oregon men win for first time ever in Boulder, beating Colorado 66-51. Richardson and Young both good on D and O. Neither Dante or Kepang showing much improvement over the season, so Altman brought Bittle in for the first time in a conference game when it counted. he didn't do much either.
I thought Bittle was supposed to be NBA material. I remember reading so much hype regarding his recruiting.
Oregon has a long history of recruiting really hyped players that never pan out in basketball though. Off the top of my head; Bryce Taylor, Malik Hairston, Dunnigan
He's very young and a little bit frail looking but I think he'll be fine. He's smart and a hard worker.I thought Bittle was supposed to be NBA material. I remember reading so much hype regarding his recruiting.

Beaver fans, serious question. What has happened this year? They returned some key players from last year's deep run.
3-16.....how is that even possible? Injuries? coaching, or just bad chemistry?
What did they lose that they did not replace?
Edit: Never mind. I just Canzano's article
I think we caught lightning in a bottle last year and this year Tinkle missed on his transfer signings.
I should add that Williams made two clutch free throws and threw a great pass that led to a victory clinching basket.Duck's men's team barely beat a bad Utah team. Team does not look good. bad turnovers at the end and they don't shoot free throws well; doen't bode well for close games against good teams. Eric Williams still taking bad hots; Dante and Kepnang just look awkward. Will Ricahardson won the game almost singlehandedly, made a lot of tough shots.
Men's team beat a tough Stanford team 68-60, despite having a six minute stretch without a made basket and only one made FT. I think Harmon had his best game with 21 points on 5 for 8 shooting and two steals. Dante seemed smoother tonight and was 5 for 6 with 7 rebounds, 2 steals and a block. Richardson bad shooting night but scored 8 point in a two minute stretch late and made some key free throws, no turnovers.
I very much appreciate you giving us these recaps!
Thank you!
I can't tell if you are joking; you should have been watching!Samesies. It’s like I was there.
terrible result yesterday
but, the Ducks have a chance to go 7 for 7 against the Beavs today:

that would be optimal dismay for beav fans
Ducks eke it out 62-59 despite turning the ball over very late on an inbounds play. Dante and Kepnang shoot 10 for 15 between them and Kepnang has four blocks. I see Harmon make some nice plays and think he should be featured on offense, but then see he shot 5 for 14, most shots on the team. I still think Eric Williams is kind of a weak link in the rotation. At this point Ducks are considered last four in for NCAA tournament.Men's basketball team against WSU in a crucial game for both if they want to get into the tournament. Ducks 35-29 at half. Dante and Young having good games.
How’d that work out for ya?
After tomorrow's game at ASU (should be a win, though a possible "trap game"), their next three games are against ranked teams. A loss to Arizona shouldn't hurt them terribly, but it feels like they'll need to sweep the S0-Cal teams in Eugene if they don't want to drop out of the bracketology bubble.Ducks eke it out 62-59 despite turning the ball over very late on an inbounds play. I have a feeling that loss to Cal is going to haunt them come selection Sunday.
Apparently the Blazers' tank went about 100 miles south. My goodness, what a pathetic effort. This will be my last report on the Ducks' Men's basketball team. I have rarely ever stopped watching one my favorite teams mid-game but I did that tonight, Somehow this team just doesn't have it. No shooters and not a real leader, not someone who can will them to victory, Maybe next year they will find someone who can step up.....
The funny thing is; coach Altman has twice the fire of any of his players. But he recruited them......Apparently the Blazers' tank went about 100 miles south. My goodness, what a pathetic effort.
