Coach Altman makes it clear he wasn't happy with the work ethic on this team. Watching his intensity along the sidelines this year, it seemed as if he was hoping he could convey that intensity into the players. He has also said previously that some of the "fellows" had a different idea than him as to how to play. I'm guessing he is hoping that some of these guys will transfer, He does say though that Guerrier was working hard before he got injured and that his three point shot was improving. He talks a lot about getting guys who can make shots, in particular threes. I wonder if he regrets recruiting so many centers. Besides Dante, Kepanga and high recruits (WABC's) Bittle and Johnson, he has another center coming in who was top ten overall. I think Dante might transfer and probably one of Bittle and Johnson, they got no playing time this year.

Issac Johnson just entered the transfer portal

a little OT but it's definitely Duck related:

a civil trial begins tomorrow in which a pair of former Duck football players are suing Willie Taggart, his one year S&C coach, the UofO, and the NCAA for 100M dollars

https://www.oregonlive.com/ducks/20...llie-taggart-ncaa-trial-to-start-tuesday.html

the genesis was some off-season, 'unsanctioned' workouts the non-certified S&C coach supervised that left at least 3 players in the hospital. They reportedly suffered damage for a condition caused by too-heavy of exercise. I remember reading at the time that the condition caused permanent damage

Josh Conerly 5 star o lineman commits to Oregon over what many thought was a lock to USC.

Lanning, further owning Lincoln Riley.

His ability to relate to kids is pretty remarkable. Great hire by Mullen’s
Riley lost to both Baylor and Texas this last year and his bowl record is below average.

You know what the point was, and I didn't say he was making $101B but that it was his net worth. Good grief. It was to put in perspective the amount versus the net worth. Sometime the gotcha/pick at a point stuff on here gets a bit old.
Not sure what profession Wiz was but I would guess maybe an account?

The word all along from the Oregon rivals site was that Josh really liked the Ducks but that he also didn't say boo to anyone preferring to keep his cards close to the vest keeping his thoughts private. 247's business model seems to be making predictions to excite fanbases, but as is often the case they've little to go on from the recruit and start a feeding frenzy believing their own speculations as real. When they don't know, they tend to guess for the big market.

This is a huge get for Oregon. Though the media has already anointed the Trojans as back, both their lines continue to lack talent and via the recent added class and transfer portal relatively nothing has been added to either since Riley arrived. The past couple years one talented Trojan QB after another has been fed to the lions so good luck to Caleb Williams, he'll need it. On the other hand, Oregon's lines are stacked with highly rated talent. Guessing the media will be shocked by the season results too.

The spring game was decent.
It's tough to evaluate as they split up the O&D lines.
a great amount of passing with Ty Thompson imo having the worst day of the three. Bo seemed to be more comfortable. All three qb's I thought looked decent.
The defense played well and the Cota kid caught everything thrown at him.

C'mon Dog, give those Smogtowners a break. They only have 30 Mil. + , in population, to pull from. It's way easier to get 4o thou. from the Eugene Metro Metropolis of 300,000. USC SUCKSSSSSSSSSSS!
In fairness, those "smogtowners" also probably have to drive like 3 hours in LA traffic to travel the 8 miles to the stadium...

Canada has a total of 38 MIL about 11% of US pop

So you're saying we should give LA back to Mexico then invade and take over Canada?

I AGREE!
Grant tried as retribution for the destruction of the USS Alabama.
Irish to tried to over throw Canada (from the usa)to negotiate Irish Sovereignty from England.

Did they forget to show his two interceptions?
He had highlights (see above) but TT had the least impressive day of the 3 QBs. Nix will probably win the starting role, but I like Butters. They've all got plenty of arm and physical talent, but I feel like JB knows where to go with the ball and consistently delivers a catchable ball.
