Well I guess the silver lining is that Pryz should be well rested for 2nd half. We need a strong beginning to the 3rd -- that's all. Start getting them nervous and they will go cold.

Give Sergio a little more time, see if he can loosen everyone up, and maybe get an alley oop pass to Rudy. We need to relax and have fun.

Blazer fans crying about the refs, no surprises here:pimp:

Hrm..well the difference is if you actually watch the game and look at the stats, it's pretty obvious to anyone outside of a Rocket's butt sniffer that the Blazers are getting hosed. All we're asking for is that the series gets called even - it was obvious in Game 1 we weren't going to get any home court advantage from the refs. Is it too much to ask for it to be called as the rules state?

Roy needs to be a superstar in this game for us to win. And Outlaw and/or LMA needs to put up 20+.

High risk pass for only 2 pts. Then you risk Sergio playing like crap and being a bigger foul machine than Oden.

No ty.

Actually, I thought we did rather well with a "small" lineup and LMA guarding Yao. I know they dumped it into Yao consistently but if LMA could do more fronting I think we'd run a lot more and have more offensive options to work with. I liked the 3 guard offense.

I'd like to see Rudy get one of those top of the key picks like last game where he stands behind his teammate and pops a 3. So far he's scoreless and we need him to knock a few down and take some pressure off the other guys.

I much prefer that to Channing Frye.

If it wasn't for those damn refs, I'm sure the blazers could have won, after all, it was a very close game, right? Right? It's not like the blazers got blown out by 27 points or something, right? nothing like that at all. :devilwink:

Yep, I'm a big old bitch. Whining and crying. What's the population of Houston? 2 million? I guess that makes 2,000,000 plus 1 why bitches complaining about the officiating in this series. So you and I got something in common!

Why are Laker fans always assholes?

I agree that the Rockets are getting the calls, but I'm not complaining.

You wonder why Laker fan is trolling - do you suppose it's because he knows we're a threat to his showboating crew?

The offense seems to have stalled when it has been ran through LA. He's catching the ball way too far away from the basket.

He's still good on pick and rolls, but he isn't creating his own shot very well. He isn't playing anything like he was towards the end of the season when he was attacking the basket.

He's getting good looks though; Yao's not challenging. I see your point though; with Yao out guarding Aldridge Portland should send cutters down into the key.

Trip...love the picture with the 4 Rockets....one of these things is not like the others. I know who 3 of them are. The 4th, no clue. But the 3 that I do know...they're all injury-prone and soft.

I also want to see more of Roy getting into the lane and kicking it out to Blake for 3. That could be huge.

Which one can't you recognize? Stro Swift or DA?

Why wasn't LMA fronting Yao when guarding him? Everybody else was fronting Yao, and Yao was a non-factor. Then LMA stops fronting him, and Yao goes on a tear.

Having said that, I like the lineup of having LMA guarding Yao, because Yao can't possibly cover LMA. LMA just needs to start fronting.

People who quote toko piss me off, he is on ignore for a reason.

DA... I was wondering if that was him. If you were going to make an "injured" NBA player Frankenstein style by grafting parts of certain players you would start with Sam Bowie's legs, but DA's teeth would be 2nd.

The refs have pretty much established that the Blazers can't hook or pull at Yao anymore. The foul calls on Przybilla and Oden early on must have discouraged the Blazers from trying it; Aldridge especially.
