Whenever they call a foul when Greg is setting a screen I'm scared to death that it'll be on him because our guards always go so early.

Yeah, that's what I was thinking.

C'mon though, guys. Yao was involved in some fouls in the first half but a teammate was there too to bail him out. This time there was no question he committed it himself.
 
Playing up hill is exhausting. We almost get to the summit and we get pushed back off. THIS is why you don't want to play from behind.

I'm just joking around at this point. I've accepted that Yao is going to get some extra protecton that Greg and Joel wont get against him. So to deal with this I make bad jokes that all must suffer. Sorry.

I agree. I notice this regardless of who is setting the pick. I worry more with Greg because he is called for so many ridiculous ticky-tack fouls. I think fixing this should be a priority over the summer.

He is and he's such a savvy person and player. I guess I really can't complain about fouls since the Rockets have caught up almost in fouls but there is one on Greg alas.

But now they make it up with the first three second call on Yao this series. These refs are odd fellows.
 
Foul on Oden for fighting for position. It's clear he just needs to let Yao go where he wants--that's what the officials seem to be saying.

I've had a long-time man crush on Shane. I love the way the guy plays basketball and I love that he graduated with a 3.8 from Duke.

Portland in the regular season (I know doesn't mean much in the post) was one of the best fourth quarter teams in the league. As long as Blake doesn't like remove his brain for crucial parts of the fourth I think we'll see a really tough battle between both teams.

Scola needs to stop being so hesitant and shoot the open mid-range jumper. The Blazers' shotblocking has done a good job of putting off Houston.
