Artest lowers his shoulder and extends his forearm and yet a foul on Roy?

Goddamn. I should just do a play-by-play of bad calls against Portland, send them to the Cockets' writers/bloggers/crybabies after the game to shut them up.

It wouldn't work. They'll keep crying as long as it keeps working.

Playoff basketball my ass. This whole series has been a poor excuse for basketball and only marginally above wrestling....

Anybody else see that "flexing muscles" move by Artest after his basket? What is up with all of the Rockets being posers? Do they spend hours in front of the mirror looking at themselves?

Yes, they do that as they practice crying to the officials. Adelwoman taught them.

I'm happy to see Travis bringing it tonight. We've missed him.

basketball sucks when the agenda is for China to advance at all costs

Look at that. Travis shying away from any kind of contact or confrontation. Come on Travis. Some fans may be back on your jock, but I'm not. Yao can't junk. Therefore, you dunk on him.

seriously hes done that like 5 times where hes had like a wide open shot and drove.... that last three was the first time ive seen him not drive to the hoop and that shot was more contested than the ones hes drove in on...

I'm so used to Joel getting 10-15 rebounds in big games, but he can't get anything against this Houston team. I really want to get out of this series so that we can see him OWN the Lakers.

Yao in the key the entire second quarter. No call.

How a center can go through an entire half, excluding sitting for 4 minutes, and have no fouls called is beyond me. Yet, two centers on the other team have 5 in 15 minutes?

Oh, I do know. The officiating blows.

Down 6 at the half. We can still win this. Let's GO BLAZERS!!!

Maybe Roy should try to go for 50. I don't feel much confidence in our other players to bring it night in and night out.

Is this really a mystery? It's a well known fact that all centers above 7' are perpetually harassed, kicked, scratched - it's like mixed martial arts out there. Meanwhile, those centers do nothing that would constitute a foul - they play appropriately never bumping with their hips or slapping another guy's arm.

Seriously, though, Outlaw knocks down a couple more of those open looks (and LMA as well) and we'd be up. They just need to hit some more shots - these are all well within their range. I just don't want to lose this opportunity to poor shooting.

down 6 isnt as bad as it could have been, we've hung tough the last bit...

hopefully nate has some great insights into 2nd half strategy to turn this thing around... hopefully...

I agree. I want Roy to attack the basket like he did in the third quarter of Game 2. Just take over.

The "Oden Affect" has NOTHING on the "Yao Affect."

I swear, Outlaw had a chance to dunk on Yao. He had the momentum and could have taken two more steps and at least TRIED to pack it over the Chinese Robot. He chose a 12ft hanging jumper that missed. I swear, if Outlaw could have packed that over Yao, and gotten the foul, we would win this game. It would have changed every thing.

Outlaw might be playing good tonight, but that guy is a pussy.
