Yep, that's what I'm worried about. But honestly I don't think OKC would see Powell at 20/Year as an asset. So it makes no sense.

A team like NYK could still make some cap gymnastics work by submitting the contracts to the league in the right order. Technically, they'd have a smaller cap hold for guys like Noel - which they can leverage to get a 'bigger' FA name.
