Even the world's best turd polishers wouldn't be able to spin losing one of your best assets for nothing as "improving the roster", let alone Neil -- who Dame is already distrustful of.

Whether its this offseason, next or the deadline, if Powell goes, I don't think Dame's too far behind.

i suppose there is a level of 'chicken-or-egg' with this discussion here. But i think it's naive to think Dame's pressuring the FO with veiled hints of a trade request isn't hurting our case with potential FAs -- powell included.
