I have no fucking clue why the Spurs decided to take back Thad Young instead of Markkanen.

Man doesn’t this offseason have felt like a huge step backward for us. We still don’t have a back up point guard. We only gotten more shooters, but they themselves can’t do much else. None of the players are even known to be good defenders. There is Greg brown we drafted but he’s years away. There better be a CJ trade going on

The only chance was to deal cj, ant, etc. Neil won't do it. Portland is playing it back 100%. Maybe sub nas for djj but it's the same team.
 
I'm starting to think Zeller is getting the 5M.

Remaining 900k goes to Greg Brown so we can sign him to a 3 or 4 year deal instead of a 2 year deal.

Maybe walk back from the ledge and actually let the Zeller #s come out?
 
I’m kind of surprised there hasn’t been any news on Ed Davis. Wouldn’t mind him as a 3rd center. No chance that Nurkic and Zeller stay healthy all season.

what I've seen is that only one 'reporter' said it was a minimum, that was Fentress. Hollinger said Zeller was a good get at the minimum, but didn't confirm that was a fact. Could be he was basing it off of the Fentress post

but maybe I've missed somebody else confirming the contract

I'd actually feel better if we hadn't signed anyone yet.

This...we got rid of broken Zach..Melo..Blevins..Hood and Trent Jr and Giles and Kanter
We're going into a new chapter with Norm, Zeller, Snell, McLemore, Brown and a couple two way 6'8 wings as well as a Mudiay and Michael Beasley...not sure where folks see such a huge dropoff
and we still probably make one more deal before the season
 
Can we at least insert ourselves into this DeRozan deal and send jones to the Spurs for Thad Young? I mean I can’t imagine the Spurs want young, and Jones saves them some money.
 
Barring a trade for Simmons/Pascal (or similar), the only way this off season is passable is if Little or Simons have an inside bump in production.

So in other words, how's the draft next year? ;)
