RHP - Luis Severino (0-1, 5.40 ERA)

VS.

RHP - Nathan Karns (0-1, 7.20 ERA)

Lineups to follow..............

I know, all games count, we're only in the 2nd week of the season and every pitcher is important - but I'm kinda paying closer attention to Severino and a bit more anxious only because we and the Yanks are in the process of finding out if he can/will be the young ace-type pitcher the Yankee org needs badly.

Yes, Severino needs to put in a solid performance but they also need to see what's going to be the situation with Arod and Headley. Arod as the DH cannot be doing this and Headley overall is just not a good enough hitter as it is.

Seve is the last guy I'd worry about, it's the jocks whom are supposed to give support that cause concern.

...Rod, Gardner, and Headley... 6th, 7th, and 8th.

How about we rest A-Rod & drop Headley to the 9 hole??? Check out tonight's lineup...............

CF - Ellsbury
LF - Gardner
1B - Teixeira
C - McCann
RF - Beltran
DH - Ackley
2B - Castro
SS - Gregorius
3B - Headley

^^^ HA !...that's better, but I'd still like to see Castro at #2 and Gardner at #9...and Headley at #8.

sweet to hear Kay/Cone talk about RE2PECT, and show his last hit in YS.....those were the days...!

Let me get this straight, two on, none out and the three stooges, Gregorius, Headley, and Ellsbury fail. Damn, I thought so. Sevey is getting better support from his cup this evening.

2nd & 3rd with nobody out & they couldn't get a run in.

So Comcast dropped the YES channel....and are buying TWB-C out, WTF ....back n forth year after year, first Comcasts sold TWB, goes belly up damn near, then is back.....

reminds me of a bankrupt K-Mart buying Sears, when K-Mart was still in Bankruptcy Court....... back to BB...!

So once again we see 2 on, none out, three stooges McCann, Beltarn, and Ackley fail , Jesus fucking wept!

I just got in to see that I didn't miss much tonight. They suddenly can't hit and the pitching once again turns in a middle of the road start.

Stunning display from the home team tonight. Tex will claim his weak inning ending grounder with the bases juiced was another bump in the road.

The next time Kay rags on the Mets with
their poor hitting, the real truth is he
is in denial about these Yankees.
OMG. The Yankees suck.....lemons.

I know I am sour on them! LOL

May have to revise (down) my 80 win expectation.

Just based on the present Yankee pitching,
not to mention the pitiful hitting, this team
will finish below .500........with a little over
a week into the season, I see that many
players are just collecting a paycheck.....and
many consider this a contribution to
the team!
When a GM gives players outlandish contracts,
time and time again those players will under
perform most of the time.

Likewise when the ownership group continuously rewards a GM assembling collection of failure teams on a constant basis everybody loses. Hey Steins, sell the team to an ownership group who cares.

...I've been on that train for awhile now.

I know its early but I'm beginning to see 2015 all over again.

Just saw post game video on last nights game in conjunction with Wallace Matthews name why does that not surprise me. Indications were Sevy had "growing pains" and has not done as well as expected. News flash, Sevy did not throw a two hitter but when his team mates go 0-12 with RISP you will not be able to pitch perhaps in the manner planned. Nova blowup excepted the Yankees have now lost 2 of last three due to offensive problems.
