• Wednesday’s game marks the second of two meetings between the Trail Blazers and the Bucks during the 2018-19 season. Portland leads the season series, 1-0.

• LAST MEETING: The Trail Blazers handed the Bucks their second loss of the season in a 118-103 victory in Portland on Nov. 6. CJ McCollum scored a season-high 40 points (17-26 FG, 5-10 3-PT, 1-2 FT) to go with four rebounds and six assists while Milwaukee was led by Giannis Antetokounmpo, who fi nished with 23 points, nine rebounds and six assists.

• Evan Turner recorded a double-double off the bench against the Bucks on Nov. 6, finishing with 16 points (7-12 FG, 2-5 3-PT) and 11 rebounds in 32 minutes.

• Damian Lillard had 13 points, six rebounds and three assists against Milwaukee on Nov. 6. Lillard has scored at least 25 points in three of his last fi ve games against the Bucks.

• Khris Middleton had 22 points, eight rebounds and six assists against Portland on Nov. 6, while Brook Lopez added 22 points on 8-of-14 shooting (6-10 3-PT).

The Blazers are on the 5th game of a 6-game road trip, while the Bucks are on the 4th game of a 6-game home stand.

Both teams have won 2 in a row.

This will be a tough game for the Blazers. The Bucks are the better team (record-wise) and it will be a back-to-back for Portland. The Blazers didn't put the game against the Knicks away until the very end, so the starters didn't get any extra rest.

Hopefully, Zach is recovered from his hangover, and can play decently here.

Its a good thing this isn’t against a bad team where we could get caught lacking. The Blazers will get up for this game and play our best basketball but I am a little pessimistic considering the circumstances. Back to back wins against a potential title contender would be huge and winning this game would be a statement.

I like us in this game because we've already shown that we match-up well with these Bucks. I think between Chief and Zach we'll defend Antetokounmpo well. I think Dame will have a big game. We've got to defend the perimeter (no open threes) and we'll get this win.

2nd of a back-to-back not getting to sleep till around 3:00 a.m. after Dame/CJ combined for around 75 minutes. Someone else may need to step up because those circumstances don't usually lead to hot shooting.

This is one of those games where a win would be a pleasant surprise. That’s a good team, and Portland is on a back to back. I wouldn’t read much into a loss.
