Blazers down to 7th in the west, losers of 6 of last 10... and teams like TWolves, Mavs, Jazz, Pelicans, Rockets, Spurs behind them... at least 2 of those teams will catch fire at some point... playoffs not looking good... nothing will change until Stotts or CJ is gone... you can’t keep doing the same thing and expect different results

See this is what a love about some of those broken record posts... They're obviously BS. Yeah, I get you think C.J. is a problem, but he was the only reason we weren't down double digits tonight was because of him.

We've hard as hard of a schedule as anyone. Playoffs not looking good? Were in the mix with everyone else with a harder schedule and we've lost every close game that wasn't against the couple of bad teams we have faced.

All i know is they played the Suns 3 times, Cavs 2 times, Hornets 2 times, Kings 2 times, Rockets and Wizards when they were terrible, and Knicks and Hawks

Our closing lineup fucking sucks, I hate when Turner and Aminu are on the court together, especially when they’re with another non shooter like Nurk.

Teams keep daring those guys to beat them, and it usually works. Stauskas should be in the closing lineup he provides space and has the clutch gene. Don’t need Turner especially if he doesn’t have the ball in his hands.

Yea, I feel like Stotts is either tryiing new things or just not sure what to do in the clutch. Whichever way it is he is doing it badly.

I thougth this is why we brought Stauskis and Curry in so that we can put out a lineup out there that when Dame and CJ get doubled all the time they can pass it to an open shooter. If we have a lineup of Dame/CJ/ET/Aminue/Nurk thats asking for no spacing whatsoever and went right into Denvers gameplan. Very bad coaching by Stotts.

Ever seen the movie Slap Shot where the general manager says about the Hanson Brothers.... "I got a real deal on them boys."

Thst's kind of what Stauskus and Curry are. We got a real good deal on them. And some nights they might actually do something.

if the D gives up a layup down 3 with enough time you take it. Because then the opponent can miss a FT or (as we saw) get a turnover.

That TO was pure dumb luck. 3 points down and the shot clock off, the best percentage play is look for the last shot and force OT. Re-start from even with the home crowd and the momentum. That approach is based on your team doing it right. What the Blazers did was desperately hope for the other team to screw up.

Doesn't CJ pretty consistently choke on the game winners? Seems like even on his hot nights he chokes up really bad on the last one. Dame probably could have worked Plumlee for a better look, but hell he set up CJ perfectly when he was having a great night. Fuck!

That was a good play by Dame, open shot by CJ whos on fire. We had no business being in a position to win the game with how we played.

We outrebounded them, outshot them, and played lockdown D in second half. We earned being in a position to win the game.

Get with reality man... this team need a miracle the other not to beat an Orlando team without Aaron Gordon... and they were at home off multiple days rest coming off a 3 game losing streak... this team blows... can’t believe you are blind to 3 years evidence that this Dame, CJ, Stotts thing won’t work... what are you on the 10 year plan?!

Turner is fucking terrible. Stotts shouldn't play him over sauce. He played Turner way too much. Turner should benched until he is traded. He sucks the life out of the offense

Someone in this thread mentioned earlier how stupid it is that we have to compromise our roster for situations like this. It's so true, we lack balance.
