The guards were all awful in pick and roll defense that first half.

Wow 50 shot attempts to just 37, and 8 times as many turnovers (8 to 1).

I agree, but knowing, and being able to do something about it, are completely different things. Olshey tried to do that with Turner, he was the best available, it hasn't worked out. Who else is clearly a better option (not a roll of the dice, that's what Turner was), and realistically available?
We could've easily signed Tyreke Evans this summer.

Aminu doing nothin. I mean, Turner is shit offensively, but at least he's trying. Damn, 17M for trying.

I'd try better than him. Where's my $1.4M MONTHLY SALARY?!

when you give up 74 in the first half winning the game is pretty much out of the question unless you score 70+ also.
Not looking like a good start to this stretch of games.
Always happens when they get an easy win. They always seem to lose focus.

Blazers out shot Toronto from the field.....and are down 22 points. That takes some talent to accomplish.

How good would this lineup be?
Damian Lillard
C.J. McCollum
Tyreke Evans
Kevin Love
Jusuf Nurkic
I don't like it because I reckon Dame, and CJ would drive, kick the ball to Evans, who would brick the three (career 31.4% 3P%, although yes, he has gotten better in the last couple of seasons).

Also Evans is a 2, not a 3; can you envisage him trying to guard Durant?

I think Love would get abused by modern NBA 4's who would just drive around him. So you have to play him at the 5, which benches Nurk, and tanks our defence.

At this point they just need to make it respectable..

About to have the bigest comeback of the year, still have a plenty of time to get back on this. Dame will drop his season high tonight

By fit, he was never "best available." He was just "available."

Gotta give the Raptors some credit. They've assembled a nice team. Their bench is deep, and they don't even have Miles tonight.
