Playoffs are going to be tough for him. Stotts would be smarter to play him a bit fewer minutes with a higher post volume. Make his time in the game really valuable, don't waste possessions with him on the floor. That way he stays fresh and ready to go. He should be doing that now so that Nurk gets comfortable with the amount of looks with his back to the basket.

Vonleh is really developing since Nurk came on board. This was the first time in long time they actually play complete game. Dame I see is really trying to pick up his D in last 2 game. 98 percent of the times his shot was good looks. CJ came out of his little shooting slump in the 2nd half. Going to Nurk down the strectch was good move even he miss some shots but when he get in better shape that will be money. Go Blazers!

What a GREAT and frustrating win. This team can win a game like this against a championship contender (on the road) one night after getting blown out by a bad Pelicans team that couldn't win a game to save their lives.

Cousins has always given us trouble. Tough matchup for us. Hopefully, we learned from it. Our last, and possibly crucial, game of the season is at home against the Pelicans.

I liked that Terry finally gave some of Meyers's back up center minutes to Noah. 26 minutes for Vonleh has been deserved for a while. Nothing spectacular but 4-4 from the field and also from the line, along with 6 rebounds, 3 assists and 0 turnovers. But the 2nd unit defense looked a little better with him.

Also after watching how well the offense works with Nurk rolling to the basket, I can't help but wonder why they don't have Meyers do the same. Not saying he would do it as well, but at least try it instead of only using him only to spread the floor. Meyers is not horrible offensively going to the basket.
