agree a win is a win and when you turn it over 25 + times.... you are lucky to win.

i guess we take it but man.... we got some work to do.

im going to sleep here on the east coast... night all! go blazers and we are 1-0!

I've stated the problem to you twice and I've seen at least two other posts directed to you about positioning. You're not in the mood to discuss the issue honestly; you're in another one of those ridiculous moods where you're debating just to be an ass.

Vaya con Dios.

P.S. If Travis Outlaw had seven turnovers with 12 rebounds and six blocks, I wouldn't be calling for his head. I'm a Blazer fan, not a fan of a specific player.

Wouldn't you be saying that his 6 blocks were canceled out by 7 turnovers?

Also, the Rockets still scored on a few of the possessions in which he blocked the shot.

The Blazers won. End of thread. Everyone who posts after this is a circle-jerker. Denver comes to town on Thursday. Save your fingers for that game thread.

No offense, but I'll fucking post where and when I want.

Eric, I mean this in the best way, but check your medication. It's not the board's responsibility to deal with your chemical imbalance.

Fuck you. I'm on good medication and I'm very level and have been for two years. I'm just having fun in here talking about the Blazers. I went through hell for three years before I got level. For you to make a crack about my mental illness is in very poor taste in a thread about basketball. Shame on you. My respect for you goes down a peg.

Honestly, I don't care what you think of me. When you're acting like this, you deserve people questioning your emotional state. I'm not the only one who has commented on your lack of understanding of the points they were making.

I hate when people say a win is a win. That's fucking garbage. Depending on what we did well or not very good, determines how well we're going to do this year. So we have every right to criticize how we won against a depleted Rockets team. It wasn't good.

We had one rusty quarter, two dominant ones and one where we coasted for a win. It was a pretty comfortable victory.

Think about what will happen when Obamacare will be implemented and they will start rationing KingSpeed's medication? LMAO.

Comfortable yes, but there are three concerns I have.

- 26 turnovers

- 3 shots for Greg Oden (McMillan part 1)

- Substitution patterns in the clutch (McMillan part 2)

You can't tell my emotional state based on posts in a message board. You have no sense of tone of voice or the light in which things are typed. I went through three harrowing years before I got level. I had 200 suicidal episodes. I went through absolute hell. And now, I am better. Much better. And my medication and therapy has made that happen. These posts in this thread are NOTHING. Just fun. Just chattin about the Blazers. For you to make a crack about my illness and medication over posts on a message board is really classless. You honestly have no idea what you are talking about. You don't know what I'm like it real life. You don't know my tone of voice. And you don't know what I've gone through. So please, let's keep the discussion about the Blazers and not me and my illness. Thank you.

How do you know I lack understanding? People don't know what I do and don't understand. It's like when people claim I'm not watching the game, which I am. Or that I'm not paying attention to the defensive end, which I am.

What was wrong with the substitution pattern in the clutch? We were up 6, he made a substitution and we won with a bigger margin. Again, where is the concern?

I'm with you 100% on your issues. The turnovers were killing me and I'm really frustrated at the way we're using GO on offense. As for those substitution patterns, I think Nate was tinkering when we had a comfortable lead. We're going to have to figure out which groups work together well and we saw a few that were really terrible. It was a teachable quarter.

The players don't even look for Greg as he rolls...the same problem
as last year..maybe miller will as he is normally pretty good at dishing it on pick and rolls

aint pretty, but its a win and ill take it!

GO BLAZERS!

Maybe you should quit writing 'bat shit' crazy stuff like, "Joel was a much more efficient center for us tonight." :devilwink:

Joel had a great game, but he didn't shut down the Rox at crunch time like Greg did.

Learn the game, then post. :ghoti:

Wow, I'm really glad you pulled out of it.

Sometimes in order to turn things around we have to find our inner John Nash, and fire him.

If you find it upsetting that people would say something that upsets you just to upset you, perhaps you should consider how your posts are affecting others in perhaps a similar way?

Dayum! A nice win to start the season and here are the 'fans', calling out the coach and players. Maybe at some point this season they will play an absolutely perfect game and all the whining will stop.

Perhaps when several people bring up the same point and you ignore it, it's not the rest of us who have a problem with understanding.

Barkley is still no doubting our team because we have no inside presence but yet he loves Dallas, who is just full of jump shooters.

Pretty amazing we had 26 turnovers and still held the Rockets to 87 points.

Anytime your best player is 5/18 from the field, your second best player is in foul trouble the entire game, and your third best player is a total non-factor offensively but you still win, it's a good sign. I don't think all three of those things will happen every game.

I agree that it is unacceptable on this board for one poster to talk about another's illness; one does not give up their privacy just by virtue of posting here.

This reminds me of bullies ganging up on a kid at school who is a little bit different; I don't like it.
