I agree and I love Baseball and played many years!I don't watch baseball anymore. It was my favorite sport for years. I just got sick and tired of being the only person of ny group of friends who was interested in it. It's just easier to follow football because at least you have something to talk about around the water cooler. Kudos if they can get it going in Portland but I don't care any more. The worst thing in the world is to love a sport that is dying in front of you. Well I am not sticking around for the wake.
If they would limit the amount of middle relievers and shorten the game some alone with maybe expanding the playoffs some with a new marketing approach maybe it would re-engerize the sport some beyond war babies like me. Im a purest and never wanted to endorse the idea of playoff expansion but it would help promote the game. Other sports have proven that.
