Starting to lag on my computer now too. Again if you guys would be willing to post your videos in spoilers that would be awesome.

You might hear a familiar voice sampled in this Public Enemy track, the Grandfather of Rip City himself - Bill Schonely.

Speaking of great voices.... it's hard to believe that Jeff Buckley has been gone for almost 20 years now. When he disappeared into the muddy waters of the Mississippi, the Heavens took a matchless talent. Somebody who could move the world to tears. I wish he had finished his final album and had given us much more.

Buckley died before I ever heard of him. But "Hallelujah" is still one of my all-time favorite songs:

I first heard it many years ago during an episode of "Without A Trace". And it was just by chance that I was switching around on TV and saw an episode that looked interesting. I never watched the show beyond that one episode. And they used "Hallelujah" perfectly in that show.

I've always said: Leonard Cohen wrote it. Rufus Wainwright sweetened it. But Jeff Buckley.........he perfected it.

And I truly believe that.

Another Portland band. We have such great musicians here.

Wait. WAIT! Reply #1 shouldn't count, because that's part of the OP. SO, technically, I got it! And I don't wanna hear---

I won.....
A) Herpes
B) Anything Mrs. HCP related
C) An intimate dinner with King
D) Anything derogatory towards Sly(he is a great guy)
E) A free enima
F) You get the idea......

I can't wait for the new Mastadon release to come out this year! Double Album :smiley-smiley-049: Seen them many times. You'll be rubbing your ears for two days afterwards! It's not fair to call them just metal.... they draw on everything from prog to jazz..... there really isn't anybody who can touch them. And Brann Dailor is one of the most unique drummer around.

Stumbled across this dude on Pandora the other day.

"Fresh off the plane it's your boy D. Swain, taking over the game ain't a damn thing changed"

I can't stand Lil Wayne but this is probably the one and only song I will ever like from him. Logic(white rapper)kills his part of the song.

*This is my 500th post and considering how I posted when I first joined.......*

How can this be a list of choices when they are all so intricately connected? Just askin'

Listening to this song with a Baccarat "The Game" Rothschild Maduro Robusto and a Henry Weinhard's Root Beer. That's a sweet little cigar, if I may say so myself. And good music to go along with it.

Tried to convince my friend that "Lost in the Ozone" is a stoner classic. He wasn't buying it. Eh. I still think it is. The Byrds and Flying Burito Brothers get all the credit for introducing country to rock..... but Commander Cody should too.

My favorite line of Seeds and Stems....

"Well, I saw your other man today, he was wearing my brand new shoes."

In honor of a song about a word made up many years ago but doesn't get a lot of use because it is stupid, I want to coin a term to describe this..........

Is dogshit taken?
Crapola?
Turrible?

Well, those are probably already in use, but so accurate.

Is Furdiculous a word? Fucking Unbelievably Ridiculous.

How to be a pop star in the 60's.

1. Be white.
2. Move to England
3. Get a mop top hair cut.
4. Oh..... and be one of the greatest baritones in history.
