2.The clean-cut all-American center: Leonard, Plumlee
3. The humble, super athletic, apparently low-skilled project: Robinson, Vonleh, Aminu
4. The "scrappy" three point shooter: Project Pat, Dani Diez
5. The ex-Clipper

And all of them have "no fuss" personalities - which, given what we're going through with Aldridge, is pretty good.

Actually, I'm wondering if Aldridge (and Love) don't sign he just saves his $ for uneven trades/next year's FA.

I've kind of bought into Zach Lowe's theory that a smart GM should sign as many free agents as possible this year while they can still be had at bargain prices, pre huge salary cap increases. That's one reason keeping kaman only makes sense if there will be a trade.

So is there a single Moneyball stat like that used in baseball? In the movie moneyball, the stat guy decided that the only stat that mattered was on-base percentage. It didn't matter if a guy could run, or anything else. (I'm sure this is a super-simplication from the book).

Anyway, is Win-Shares that stat for basketball? NetrtG?

Agreed. For the record...
Kevin Love drafted 5th, Age 26 would fit the pattern.

Also, Kobe, when he was 25, fit that pattern.
